Remote VA
Role Description We are looking for a skilled and reliable IT Support Specialist to join our growing remote team. The ideal candidate has strong troubleshooting experience, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to support end users across a variety of IT environments. Candidates with a professional accent and strong customer service skills are highly preferred. This role involves providing technical support for Windows systems, Microsoft 365 environments, networking issues, hardware troubleshooting, and general IT support tasks. Key Responsibilities - Provide remote technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and business applications - Troubleshoot and resolve Windows 10 and Windows 11 issues - Assist with Microsoft 365 administration and user account management - Support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) environments and MFA setup - Configure and troubleshoot devices, user profiles, and permissions - Diagnose networking and connectivity issues including DNS, VPN, routers, and firewalls - Install and update software, drivers, and Windows updates - Perform hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting for desktops and laptops - Troubleshoot printers, print drivers, and network-connected devices - Support Microsoft Outlook, Office apps, Dropbox, OneDrive, Chrome, and Edge - Assist with malware removal, antivirus issues, and endpoint security best practices - Conduct file backup and restore processes - Use Windows troubleshooting tools including Event Viewer, Task Manager, DISM, CHKDSK, SFC, and Reliability Monitor - Document issues and resolutions clearly and professionally Qualifications - Experience in IT support, help desk, or technical support roles - Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 administration - Familiarity with Microsoft 365 and Entra ID (Azure AD) - Basic PowerShell and Command Prompt knowledge - Understanding of networking fundamentals and troubleshooting - Experience troubleshooting hardware and peripherals - Strong communication and customer service skills - Excellent spoken and written English - Ability to work independently in a remote environment Requirements - Nice to Have - Experience with Windows Server environments - Familiarity with Microsoft Azure - Experience using RMM tools - Knowledge of backup solutions - Experience with PC hardware upgrades or custom PC builds Benefits - Remote / Work From Home - Open to candidates with strong IT support backgrounds - Compensation is flexible based on experience and communication skills - We are looking for someone proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting users in a fast-paced environment. ***Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we regret that we are unable to provide individual feedback to all candidates.
