What You’ll Be Responsible For (Outcomes) - You lead a high-performing, aligned engineering team - You act as the bridge between business and engineering - You make scalable, future-proof architectural decisions - You ensure end-to-end product delivery - You enforce high engineering standards - You drive execution and prioritization - You build a strong, collaborative engineering culture Qualifications - Led and mentored engineering teams in a full stack environment (non-negotiable) - Built and scaled web (and ideally mobile) applications from scratch - Made architectural decisions for scalable SaaS product - Worked closely with product and business stakeholders - Owned end-to-end development across frontend and backend systems Who You Are - Strong technical leader — you guide teams while staying hands-on when needed - Strategic thinker — you balance speed, scalability, and long-term impact - Excellent communicator — you translate complex ideas clearly across teams - Ownership-driven — you take accountability for both team output and product success - Problem-solver — you navigate ambiguity and make sound decisions under pressure Who This Is NOT For - This is not a fit if your experience is primarily individual contributor roles without leadership responsibility - Maintenance-only roles without building systems from scratch - Frontend-only or backend-only specialization without full stack ownership - Following instructions without contributing to technical strategy What Success Looks Like - The platform is stable, scalable, and built for growth - The engineering team delivers consistently and operates independently - Technical decisions support long-term product vision - Features are shipped on time without compromising quality - Cross-functional collaboration is smooth and effective Technical Skills Requirements - Full Stack Development: Strong experience using TypeScript across frontend and backend - Backend: 5+ years working with Node.js, preferably using FastifyJS or NestJS - Frontend: Advanced proficiency in ReactJS and Next.js - APIs: Proven experience designing secure, scalable RESTful APIs - Telephony & Communication: 2+ years integrating Twilio (voice, SMS, or automation workflows) - DevOps: Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized environments - Payments & Integrations: Experience with Stripe (SaaS subscriptions) and Zapier developer integrations - AI Workflow Orchestration: Experience with prompt engineering and frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex - Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading or mentoring a development team, including guiding technical decisions, conducting code reviews, supporting career growth, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. - Problem-Solving: Strong ability to troubleshoot complex systems and deliver elegant solutions Minimum Technical and Work Environment Requirements - Internet Connection: - Primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps. - Backup internet connection with at least 10 Mbps. - Backup connection must be capable of supporting work during a power outage. - Primary Device: - Desktop or laptop equipped with at least: - Intel Core i5 (8th generation or newer), Intel Core i3 (10th generation or newer), AMD Ryzen 5, or an equivalent processor. - A minimum of 8 GB RAM. - Backup Device: - Must meet or exceed the performance of an Intel Core i3 processor. - Must be functional during power interruptions. - Peripherals and Workspace: - A functioning webcam. - A noise-canceling USB headset. - A quiet, dedicated home office space. - A smartphone for communication and verification purposes.
