Ad Monetization Manager

• Design, implement, and optimize waterfalls on mediation platforms (AppLovin MAX, IronSource/Unity LevelPlay, AdMob / Google Ad Manager). • Configure and manage dynamic floor prices and real-time bidding (in-app bidding) to maximize eCPM. • Evaluate and onboard new ad networks and programmatic demand. • Monitor key KPIs: eCPM, fill rate, ARPDAU, ad revenue per session, impression share. • Run cohort analyses and A/B tests on ad formats, frequencies, and integrations. • Identify data-driven improvement opportunities using BI tools (Looker, BigQuery, Amplitude). • Define the ad format strategy per app: interstitials, rewarded, banners, native, MREC. • Ensure the right balance between ad monetization and user experience, reducing ad-induced churn. • Collaborate with Product to properly integrate ad placements into the user flow. • Manage relationships with ad networks (Meta Audience Network, AppLovin, IronSource, Mintegral, Vungle, InMobi, etc.). • Negotiate guaranteed deals and header bidding arrangements with strategic partners. • Stay up to date on programmatic market trends and policy changes (ATT, privacy). • Ensure compliance with App Store, Google Play, and individual ad network policies and guidelines. • Implement brand safety measures, ad quality filters, and advertising inventory review processes.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in mobile app advertising monetization.
- Demonstrable gaming experience (mandatory requirement): knowledge of waterfalls in F2P games, rewarded ad management, and mixed monetization logic (IAP + Ads).
- Demonstrated experience in or transition to non-gaming apps (lifestyle, health, utilities, tools).
- Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or a related field. MBA or programmatic advertising training is a plus.
- Proficiency in at least one mediation platform: AppLovin MAX, IronSource LevelPlay, or AdMob.
- Familiarity with monetization SDKs and their integration (iOS / Android).
- Advanced data analysis skills: SQL, BigQuery, or Looker is a strong plus.
- Knowledge of ATT (App Tracking Transparency), SKAdNetwork, and their impact on fill rate and targeting.
- Understanding of the programmatic ecosystem: DSPs, SSPs, PMPs, Open Auction.
- Strong data-driven and experimentation mindset: A/B testing culture and evidence-based decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple apps and verticals simultaneously.
- Collaborative profile: cross-functional work with UA, Product, Data Engineering, and Finance.
- Proactivity and ownership: ability to identify opportunities and execute them autonomously.
- C1 English required for communication with international partners.
