• Lead the design and development of high-performance frontend applications using TypeScript, React, and Next.js. • Organizing, distributing and translating backlog requirements from Product, UX and other disciplines, into detailed spec driven requirements for Agents to implement. • Synthesise user stories, site maps, content strategy, components and design systems, brand strategy, etc, into specifications that coding Agents will implement. • Designing and implementing digital solutions that have proper SEO/GEO, accessibility, performance and content management integrations. • Integrations with key Composable platforms such as Contentful, Contentstack, Algolia, Cloudinary, etc. • Experience implementing enterprise grade design systems, content models and component libraries. • Apply spec-driven development to ensure clarity, consistency, and high-quality delivery. • Architect frontend solutions that integrate seamlessly with backend services and AI-powered systems. • Design user experiences that help users express goals, constraints, and context clearly to AI agents. • Design and implement frontend experiences that leverage: AI-powered APIs and LLM-driven features and RAG-based experiences and AI-assisted workflows. • Collaborate with backend teams to consume RESTful APIs effectively. • Ensure frontend systems are scalable, maintainable, accessible, and well-documented. • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to frontend engineers. • Partner with Project Managers and stakeholders to manage delivery risks and timelines. • Communicate complex frontend and AI concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences, including clients.

• Pair with and support the existing UI Platform engineer to deliver platform roadmap items and operational improvements. • Design, build, and maintain reusable UI components, patterns, and utilities with a focus on composability, accessibility, and performance. • Own platform-level features (component library, tokens, theming, Storybook, docs, test harnesses) and contribute to architecture and standards. • Improve developer experience for product teams using the platform: scaffolding, documentation, linting, and CI checks. • Add automated tests (unit, integration, visual regression) and enforce quality gates. Optimize build and runtime performance for components and pages. • Collaborate cross-functionally with product designers, product managers, and backend engineers to ensure components meet UX and performance goals. • Review code, mentor teammates, and evangelize best practices for front-end engineering and design systems. • Participate in planning processes — help shape the roadmap.

• Serve as a technology leader, contributing to key decisions regarding tech stack and strategy across both web (Next.js) and mobile (React Native) development. • Work directly with the co-founders, CTO, product designers, and fellow engineers to build and iterate on the Kindred platform. • Architect, build, test, and scale features across our Next.js web application and React Native mobile app. • Develop reusable UI components and contribute to our cross-platform design system thinking. • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness on both web and mobile. • Integrate with backend APIs, ensuring seamless data flow and user experience. • Help establish and grow our engineering organization, including mentoring future engineers. • Have access to our bench of world-class technical advisors and angels for mentorship and support as needed.
