QA Engineer – Manual & Automation Testing, Playwright

ECOMMERCE ONE

• Perform manual testing of web applications, APIs, and e-commerce solutions. • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test cases using Playwright. • Create and maintain test documentation, test plans, and test scenarios. • Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing. • Identify, document, and track software defects and support developers during issue resolution. • Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure high product quality. • Support release validation and smoke testing activities. • Continuously improve QA processes, testing standards, and automation coverage. • Participate in CI/CD and quality assurance process improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Experience in software quality assurance, including both manual and automated testing.
  • Practical experience with Playwright for test automation.
  • Understanding of modern web applications, APIs, and browser technologies.
  • Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and test management tools is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Experience in e-commerce projects or SaaS products is a plus.
  • At least C1 in either written and spoken German or English.
