Service Processor, Premium & Billing

Role Description We are excited to bring on a Premium & Billing Service Processor to join our Group Protection Operations Team supporting Workplace Solutions in our Omaha, NE; Atlanta, GA; Dover, NH; Charlotte, NC or Phoenix, AZ offices. The Group Protection Operations Team will help you grow your group benefits knowledge and establish strong partnerships (internally/externally) while working in this fast-paced environment. - Manage complex premium and billing applications, including configuration/setup of new accounts. - Research discrepancies and conduct analysis to determine root cause. - Ensure all information is complete and in good order. - Monitor premium and billing for proper completion, including balancing expenses. - Troubleshoot issues with premium & billing to identify complex root causes and resolve issues. - Manage basic reporting and complete terminations and reinstatements. - Handle transfers of payments as needed and provide customer service to internal/external stakeholders. - Manage premium & billing cases in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. - Escalate increasingly complex issues/concerns to senior team members and/or management. - Identify, recommend, and champion process improvements and organizational initiatives. Qualifications - High School or GED. - 0 - 1+ Years of billing, premium, and/or reconciliation experience. - Ability to communicate effectively (verbal/written). - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). Requirements - Accounts Receivable Knowledge (preferred). - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with adaptability. - Ability to articulate/alter provisions – comfortable with contract language.
