Offshore Wind Technician III

Role Description As the Offshore Wind Technician, you will: - Work with site leadership to execute contractual obligations per customer requirements and activities set forth on a daily basis, which include any portion of the electrical and mechanical equipment used in the GE wind turbine generators. - Perform maintenance, repair, or replacement of parts to correct malfunctions. - Troubleshoot complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical problems on variable pitch & variable speed turbines. - Help in all areas of site operations as directed by manager with minimal supervision. - Perform some diagnostic electrical analysis. - Document all work performed using computer-based service reporting procedures. - Work with and respond to GE’s remote operations center when necessary. Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED. - Minimum of 5 years experience as a Wind Technician. - Minimum of 3 years of work experience troubleshooting, inclusive of hydraulic and electrical experience using basic power hydraulic tools. - Passing a Technical Knowledge Assessment and basic computer skills. - Past leadership of field teams. Requirements - Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. - Handle repetitive weight - 50 lbs, and climb towers up to 300 feet daily. - Meet specified manufacturer weight limits not to exceed 300 lbs including required gear. - Understand electrical schematic drawings, technical manuals, procedures, and regulations. - Ability and willingness to work in a range of environments including industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities. Desired Characteristics - Technical Certification in Wind Energy or Electrical/Electronic field. - Wind turbine experience. - Ability and willingness to take initiative and work without direct supervision. - Electrical, mechanical, and/or hydraulic experience. - Experience using hydraulic power tools. - Experience with heavy equipment required for facility maintenance with a working knowledge of crane and rigging requirements. Field Engineer / Supervisor – Service Engineering

• Lead and supervise GE Vernova field teams and subcontractors across GIS installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization projects • Drive efficient execution through hands-on coordination of manpower, tools, equipment, and site resources • Serve as the primary GE Vernova representative and customer interface on site • Lead daily toolbox talks, safety briefings, and Job Safety Analyses • Manage site interfaces with clients, contractors, commissioning teams, and project managers • Monitor installation progress and deliver accurate daily, weekly, and final site reports • Support commissioning, high-voltage testing, and punch list closure through to formal client handover • Review, adapt, and draft engineering documents including GA drawings, control schematics, wiring diagrams, interconnection drawings, terminal diagrams, and Bills of Materials • Prepare engineering documentation suitable for review and stamping by a licensed Professional Engineer where required • Enforce strict compliance with GE Vernova EHS policies, OSHA regulations, and NFPA 70E arc flash requirements • Manage on-site quality inspections, audits, and hold points • Mentor and develop junior field engineers, supervisors, and technicians & provide customer training
