• Lead the organization’s content strategy across science, research, emerging technology, climate, health, and related subject areas. • Oversee editors, writers, freelancers, contributors, and content producers. • Develop editorial calendars, commissioning priorities, and cross-platform content plans. • Partner with audience, product, and marketing teams to grow readership, engagement, and loyalty. • Ensure all content meets high standards for accuracy, credibility, accessibility, and editorial integrity. • Identify new content opportunities, formats, expert contributors, and strategic partnerships. • Use audience insights and performance data to strengthen editorial decision-making.

• You will be going over reported content which will include; comments, chats, strong graphic images, videos and audio files. • Using moderation guidelines, it will be your decision if the user-generated content has broken the community policies or not. • You may also need to escalate harmful content to ensure continued protection of the users and brand. • This role involves regular exposure to user-reported content, which can include graphic imagery and offensive language. • Moderate in accordance with Social Element and client-specific guidelines • Reviewing content across multiple formats, including voice chat audio, videos, comments, etc. • Keep up to date with notifications of any new changes in the guidelines or our systems • Carry out moderation and training according to the times scheduled in the project schedule • Be resilient when reviewing content that may be unexpected, highly sensitive, intense or challenging • Escalate user-generated content that falls within the official escalation processes (eg child safety, bomb threats) • Inform Supervisors and/ or project management team of any technical or other issues with tools or content and providing feedback on any client issues
