Job Description

Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Crunchtime

• Senior database administrator will be working as part of the DBA team on providing a stable, scalable and well-performing database platform to our internal and external customers. • Responsible for day-to-day operations of database platform, performance tuning, issue troubleshooting • Responsible for Crunchtime application management operations, such as provisioning, decommissioning, patching, upgrades, etc. • Participate in the on-call rotation and act as escalation and source of knowledge for more junior DBAs • Participate in scheduled maintenance work, database patching, upgrades, etc. • Provide database expertise to development, support and other Crunchtime teams

Job Requirements

  • Oracle Database and RAC administration (6-10 years)
  • Oracle Database backup and recovery (6-10 years)
  • Basic knowledge of Linux
  • Basic understanding of computer networking and SAN
  • Experience in Oracle Dataguard administration
  • Experience in Oracle GoldenGate administration
  • Team player
  • Ability and desire to learn
  • Perfectionist with high level of attention to detail
  • BS in Computer Science or related field or have an equivalent experience in the field.
