Role Description We at Coforge are hiring a Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with the following skill set. - Use VS Code with AI Models (e.g., GitHub Copilot or similar) to accelerate development of SQL, Python, and analytics artifacts. - Critically review, validate, and refine AI-generated code to ensure correctness, performance, and alignment with business requirements. - Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models as the primary reporting platform. - Implement reusable datasets and semantic layers that enable self-service analytics at scale. - Develop advanced DAX measures and calculations aligned to standardized KPIs and definitions. - Develop and optimize SQL transformations to support analytics and reporting use cases. - Work with Databricks and cloud data platforms to curate and prepare data for BI consumption. - Ensure data accuracy, metric integrity, and model consistency across AI-assisted and manually developed assets. - Optimize Power BI models for performance, refresh efficiency, and scalability. - Implement security best practices, including Row-Level Security (RLS) and sensitivity labeling. - Document semantic definitions, assumptions, and design decisions to support governance and auditability. Qualifications - Experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or Data Analytics. - Strong hands-on experience with Power BI (semantic modeling, DAX, Service deployment). - Solid background in analytical/semantic data modeling. - Advanced proficiency in SQL. - Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., VS Code with AI Models) with the ability to validate and refine outputs. - Experience working in Agile environments. - Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
