Cohesity
• Respond to customer inquiries for an assigned product(s) within a Technical Support Engineer environment • Provide technical support to Cohesity customers, partners, and field support staff • Work with Cohesity customers, partners, and field reps by answering technical questions • Resolve cases per productivity, performance and SLA standards and support goals • Research, document, and collaborate on cases as required • Author or update technical documents into Knowledge Management (KM) • Establish close interactions with team members and other applicable stakeholders • Participate in Product Previews for New Product Releases • Mentor and assist other technical support engineers
Job Requirements
- Experience across multiple of the following core technologies
- Linux (Red Hat), Microsoft Windows
- Server Hardware, Software, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- TCP/IP, TLS, PKI, Firewalls, Routing, VLANs
- LVM, RAID, DAS, SAN, NAS, Software-Defined Storage
- Log Analysis, Process Tracing, Debugging, Kernel Panic
- Application Performance Management, reliability, availability, and serviceability
- Cohesity product offerings such as Net Backup and Data Protection
- Experience with scripting languages (i.e., Python, Perl, and PHP) is beneficial
- Language proficiency in Mandarin a must.
- 4+ years of Sys Admin or related enterprise Technical Support
- 4+ years’ experience providing 2nd /3rd level support in an enterprise class product company.

Role Description The Global Technical Support operator will offer in-depth technical knowledge on our Fire / Life safety product portfolio. They will be able to communicate both verbally and in written format in a clear, concise manner, addressing customer queries on product-related issues in the field from comprehensive scenario testing and technical verification of product, both legacy and new.
