Hack The Box
Role Description Hack the Box is looking for a Senior Content Engineer with a main focus on ICS and SCADA skills to join our Hack the Box Content team and assist with the testing, development, review, and ongoing maintenance of our Labs offerings. You will contribute to our growing Content team and work in a highly collaborative environment. - Develop high quality content for various Hack the Box platforms - Conduct testing and maintenance of labs, challenges, machines - Take business goals into account when creating content and making technical decisions - Work closely with the greater Content Development team, Infrastructure team, and other stakeholders on a daily basis to tackle complex tasks - Continuous training and research to remain on top of current vulnerabilities, exploits, tools, tactics, and procedures - Automating workflows for effective content production and testing Qualifications - Native or bilingual proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) - Experience in ICS and SCADA security and simulations - Experience with OT protocols, network topologies, and historical critical attacks - Working knowledge of scripting languages, especially Python - Knowledge in AI technologies - Highly organized, motivated, with a strong passion for information security - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn new skills - Ability to organize and manage multiple projects, working both independently and remotely - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Requirements - Prior penetration testing experience on OT environments is a huge plus - Experience in web application and/or network penetration testing - Prior experience creating vulnerable ICS CTF challenges and/or machines - “Elite Hacker” or higher rank on Hack the Box - Capture the Flag (CTF) experience - BSc in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience - Knowledge of Cloud technologies - Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware Workstation, ESXi, vCenter) - System administration experience (Windows, Linux, etc.) Benefits - 25 annual leave days - Paid parental leave - Home Office Allowance - Dedicated budget for training and professional development, participation in conferences - State-of-the-art equipment - Full access to the Hack The Box lab offerings - Flexibility in working hours
