Role Description We are hiring an Affiliate Marketing Specialist to own our affiliate, word-of-mouth, and referral programs. The right person is a data-led growth marketer who knows how to design incentives, structure programs, and turn happy users and motivated partners into compounding, viral loops of new signups and active customers. Key Responsibilities - Affiliate program ownership - Own the end-to-end affiliate program — recruitment, onboarding, activation, payouts, and ongoing performance management - Build a high-quality roster of affiliates across content creators, communities, comparison sites, KOLs, and niche operators relevant to our products - Set commission structures, tiers, and incentives that drive the right behaviour without leaking margin - Continuously prune low performers and double down on what is working - Referral and word-of-mouth programs - Design, launch, and iterate on user referral programs that turn customers into a reliable acquisition channel - Build word-of-mouth and ambassador motions that amplify product launches and key moments - Create the in-product surfaces, messaging, and reward mechanics that actually get users to share - Viral loops and growth mechanics - Identify and build viral loops within and around our products — where each new user predictably drives the next - Run structured experiments on incentives, reward design, sharing surfaces, copy, and timing - Map the math of each loop (k-factor, cycle time, payback) and continuously work to improve it - Data, measurement, and reporting - Instrument every program end-to-end so attribution, fraud, and performance are clean and reliable - Define and track the core KPIs: referred signups, activation rate, CAC, payback, fraud rate, share rate, k-factor - Build dashboards that make program health legible to the wider team and inform decisions on spend, incentives, and scope - Proactively detect and shut down fraud, abuse, and incentive gaming - Cross-functional collaboration - Work closely with product and engineering on in-product referral surfaces, tracking, and attribution - Partner with finance and compliance on payout structures, KYC/AML, and program terms - Coordinate with the wider growth, content, social, and partnerships teams to amplify programs at launch and on an ongoing basis Qualifications - 3–5 years in affiliate, referral, partnerships, or growth marketing with direct ownership of a measurable program - Demonstrable track record growing a meaningful acquisition channel through affiliates, referrals, or viral loops - Strong data orientation — comfortable in spreadsheets, BI tools, and attribution platforms, and confident in SQL or willing to learn - Hands-on experience with affiliate platforms (Impact, PartnerStack, Trackier, Everflow, or similar) and referral tooling - Sharp instincts for incentive design — what motivates partners and users without breaking program economics - Strong written English and the ability to recruit, brief, and manage external partners professionally - Self-starter mindset, comfortable owning a program end-to-end in a fast-moving environment Nice to Have - Working knowledge of crypto, digital assets, and the crypto KOL / ambassador / community ecosystem - Experience running affiliate or referral programs for trading, fintech, or other financial products - Familiarity with crypto-native channels (X/Twitter, Telegram, Discord, YouTube creators, on-chain campaigns) - Experience with fraud detection and prevention in incentive-driven programs - Comfort using AI tooling for partner research, outreach, and content personalisation What Success Looks Like in the First 6 Months - A live, performing affiliate program with a curated roster of partners and clean attribution - A redesigned (or net-new) user referral program with measurable k-factor and steady cycle time - A clear dashboard of program health — signups, CAC, payback, fraud, and share rate — trusted across the team - Demonstrable contribution to overall acquisition from affiliate, referral, and word-of-mouth channels Benefits - Remote Setup - HMO on day 1
