Sales Development Consultant, Inside Sales
The Cigna Group
• Build a robust pipeline of SME sales opportunities through outbound prospecting • Source and qualify new business opportunities among U.S.-based multinational employers • Partner closely with key U.S. and international broker partners • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers to develop SME growth strategies • Take ownership of all SME quotations • Serve as a subject matter expert on Cigna Global Health Benefits expatriate & business travel medical solutions • Support and participate in internal and external sales meetings • Collaborate cross-functionally to test and refine sales messaging • Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity, activity, and lead qualification data in Salesforce
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in B2B sales, inside sales, or outbound prospecting
- Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales or lead-generation targets
- Strong understanding of consultative selling and relationship-based sales approaches
- Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, Copilot)
- High energy, self-motivated, and target-driven
- Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Strong customer focus with the ability to identify client needs and propose appropriate solutions
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
