Resource Management and Access Librarian Location: New York City United States Categories: Library, Hybrid Job Description: The Gottesman Libraries is seeking a Resource Management and Access Librarian to oversee electronic serial acquisitions, course reserves, and interlibrary loans. The incumbent plays a vital role in delivering technical services that meet research-level demands for physical and digital access to library materials via the library services platform, learning management system, and resource sharing. Job Summary/Basic Function: The Resource Management and Access Librarian supports course reserves and electronic resource management for the Teachers College community. This role collaborates with faculty and staff to ensure compliant, accessible access to materials and provides user support and training. Responsibilities include managing the lifecycle of electronic resources (acquisition, licensing, usage analysis, and fund tracking), resolving access issues, and coordinating subscriptions and shared resources with campus partners. The role also supports interlibrary loan services, including physical lending, digitization of course materials, and digital resource sharing, while contributing to initiatives that enhance discovery and access to library collections. CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Manages e-resource subscriptions and collections, including vendor liaison, licenses, budgeting, troubleshooting, and user support - Receives, processes, fulfills, and selectively scans requests for course resource lists in coordination with the technical services team - Conducts training for unit staff and compiles relevant instructional material for users - Coordinates and fulfills interlibrary loan services in both electronic and physical formats, in coordination with unit staff - Compiles and reviews usage data and documentation on e-resources, reserves, and interlibrary loans to drive collecting decisions and improve unit workflow - Participates in library working groups and committees, reports on activities, and performs related duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: - Graduate degree from an ALA-accredited program - Minimum of 3-5 years of technical services - Strong understanding of technical workflows - Ability to conduct responsive reference interviews, employ active listening skills and offer solutions in navigating scholarly publishing as it relates to course readings, materials access, accessibility, copyright, and open access - Strong customer-service orientation - Proficiency in Integrated Library Systems - Familiarity with resource-sharing practices and protocols - Ability to work well independently and also with others in a collegial environment - Ability to adapt quickly to new standards and technologies - Excellent oral and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Ex Libris' Alma, Primo, and Leganto Systems - Experience in academic libraries and understanding of issues in higher education - Experience in interlibrary lending and related systems Salary Range: $85,000 - $89,000 Work Modality: Hybrid Competitive Compensation and Benefits The salary range reflects the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation for the position at the time of the job posting. • Administer and maintain the DAM system for optimal organization, accessibility, and performance. • Develop and enforce metadata schemas, taxonomy, tagging, and asset lifecycle policies. • Conduct audits to ensure asset accuracy, compliance, and relevance. • Enforce standards and escalate recurring governance issues. • Evolve metadata structures to meet changing business needs and improve discoverability. • Partner with the Web Team to manage asset deployment in AEM Sites. • Ensure assets are properly tagged, linked, and optimized for web use. • Troubleshoot AEM asset issues and support content authors and developers. • Align asset workflows with publishing timelines and content strategy. • Collaborate with global marketing and creative teams to ingest and catalog assets. • Train team members on DAM best practices and governance. • Facilitate efficient asset retrieval and reuse across campaigns. • Maintain rights management and usage guidelines for licensed and proprietary content. • Ensure adherence to brand and accessibility standards. • Monitor asset usage and governance compliance, recommending improvements as needed.

• Own the day-to-day operation, integrity and security of the group's on-chain treasury across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions, operating fluently within a sophisticated multi-Safe + Zodiac (Roles, Delay) wallet architecture. You anticipate failure modes before they materialise and then implement structures and processes to mitigate them. • Own the operational response stack end-to-end - monitoring, alerting, runbooks, drills, on-call escalation, post-mortems. Existing work in this area is taken over, rationalised, productionised and extended; net-new is built where required • Own incident response - define what constitutes a treasury emergency, the escalation path, and the operational mechanisms that allow the architecture to absorb incidents without heroics. Within six months, the team's escalation path of last resort runs through you, not the CFO. Personally accountable when true incidents occur, including out of hours • Help manage the liquidity component of the treasury within a defined risk mandate. Execute positioning across wallets and chains based on forward-looking instructions from FP&A, and engage with counterparties on hedging, on/off-ramping and liquidity execution. • Own crypto and fiat payment execution and the wallet signing workflow - operating it as a structured, auditable process with commercial rationale captured at the point of decision • Own crypto treasury reporting - position reconciliation, dashboard data quality, and the on-chain transaction record handed to Finance - to a standard that meets the needs of internal users (including FP&A for their forecasting work), community transparency and investor diligence • Inherit and grow design ownership of the wallet architecture from the CFO over time, taking the pen on its continued evolution. • Own the cold-custody programme and the operational disciplines that keep the recovery path live across the Foundation's multi-year horizon - hardware key custody arrangements, fiduciary succession, periodic wake-up drills. • Contribute to investment planning of the liquidity treasury tranche through the Investment Committee • Partner closely with the rest of the Finance team and with adjacent Security and Investment functions on shared operational and architectural concerns
