Senior User Experience Designer
Salesforce
• Influence and compellingly communicate the UX vision to a wide variety of key stakeholders • Build strong partnerships across disciplines, such as Design, Product, Engineering, and Marketing • Solve complex UX design problems across web, mobile and tablet • Collaborate closely with product owners/managers (POs & PMs) to find opportunities for new products/features and validate assumptions through user testing and research • Work with engineering to deliver final product • Reinforce a design-thinking culture that leverages the best product, technology and innovative talent • Own various web and mobile application interfaces • Work with devs and QE to deliver polished final product • Evangelize new interface guidelines and design patterns
Job Requirements
- 4 to 10 years of experience designing and delivering products in cross-functional teams from start to finish
- Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices - and you’re always looking to improve on your process
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment, while also leading process improvement efforts
- Power to influence others and build consensus, while dealing with ambiguity
- Self-motivated, a good communicator, and able to balance great design with meeting short deadlines
- Experience using analytics, user research and other approaches to help make decisions and iterate on the product
- Constant drive to stay up-to-date with the latest industry news and developments.
- A deep appreciation and talent for simple solutions to complex problems
- Expert knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, PhotoShop, Illustrator
- Bonus: Experience working in design systems
- Experience with CRM or enterprise software
- Experience creating user-led data visualization solutions
- Experience with data management software

• Collaborate with CDX Strategists, CDX Researchers, the Experience Management & Capability team and the respective Experience Design team members to produce Service Design deliverables (e.g., Service Blueprints) for one or more Journeys in a given Experience that are integrated, cross-touchpoint, cross-Customer Type, and Cross-Experience/Journey. • Assist with the design, execution, and incorporation of user research into the design of the relative Journeys. • Facilitate the use of Design Thinking, storytelling, and conceptual prototypes to compellingly convey the vision, flow, and features of the products/services being designed. • Facilitate creation and adoption of design systems, website interaction models, information architectures, user task flows, and screen designs; turn complex information into intuitive graphics, charts, and other forms of visualization data. • Facilitate use of ideation and sketching for storyboards and prototyping; create low- and medium-fidelity prototypes to test proposed Journeys. • Support the adaption of the enterprise wide UX best practices, standards, principles, and design thinking processes for use by the respective UX, Product, and Engineering teams; advocate for these standards, principles, processes. • Support collaboration with Strategy, Product, and Engineering peer leadership to foster active collaboration across the teams, remove impediments, and ensure delivery of the overall Experience vision & OKRs. • Support advocacy for the Experience's/Journey’s UX vision. • Uphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork. • Support and comply with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
