• Be responsible for the architecture of hybrid game and machine learning systems, acting as the primary point of contact for integrating machine learning into game systems. • Design, develop, and maintain both learning and non-learning systems. • Stay up to date with the latest developments in both machine learning and game technologies, identifying and exploring applications that would be useful to the company. • Support programming and machine learning teams throughout development phases. • Create and keep up-to-date quality guidelines for our machine learning applications. • Disseminate machine learning knowledge across the organization. • Improve your team’s impact, whether through personal achievements or leadership. • Maintain rich, thoughtful, and candid communication with colleagues to ensure the best results. • Gather, validate, and act on internal feedback, adjusting design and technology choices as needed.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience designing, implementing, and maintaining APIs and applications.
- Familiarity with classical AI concepts, such as symbolic processing and production systems.
- Knowledge of machine learning: experience using major ML libraries and platforms such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Keras.
- Experience in human behavior modeling and reinforcement learning is a strong asset.
- Strong skills in C, C++, Rust, Go, or other systems programming languages.
- Strong skills in Python.
- Proven track record of introducing machine learning solutions into traditional computing systems: experience deploying ML systems to production and a taste for applied research.
- Experience with high-performance computing and knowledge of code optimization best practices.
- Familiarity with game engines and real-time simulations.
- Intellectually curious.
- Humble and curious, constantly seeking learning opportunities and not limited to the scope of their role or the company.
- Autonomous: proactive and self-motivated.
- Able to set ambitious high-level goals, plan them, drive execution, and be accountable for results.
- Hold a master’s degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, or another data-related discipline, or possess equivalent expertise through industry experience.
- Experience using Unreal Engine.
- Geographic location in the North American Eastern Time zone is preferred.

• Develop a comprehensive cloud migration strategy based on business and technical requirements • Assess the current IT landscape and define the scope of migration • Choose the appropriate cloud model (public, private, hybrid, or multi-cloud) and cloud service providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) • Define cost, security, and compliance requirements for cloud adoption • Provide guidance on Cloud Center of Excellence (CCOE) framework • Develop detailed migration and/or transformation plans • Design cloud architectures that align with scalability, availability, and performance needs • Develop migration plans, including rehosting (lift and shift), re-platforming, re-architecting, and replacing legacy systems • Identify dependencies and risks associated with cloud migration • Ensure the right cloud services (compute, storage, networking, security) are selected for optimal performance • Lead the migration process, ensuring minimal downtime and business disruption • Work closely with DevOps, security, and networking teams to configure cloud environments • Oversee data migration, application refactoring, and integration with cloud-native services • Optimize workloads post-migration for cost-effectiveness and efficiency • Implement security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and monitoring • Familiarity with different security models and leading practices (i.e. PCI, SOC2, NIST, HITRUST, FedRAMP, Gov Cloud, CJIS, ITAR, or others) • Consult on maintaining compliance with industry standards (ISO, GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) • Establish governance policies for cloud resource usage and cost control • Set up monitoring and alerting mechanisms for cloud infrastructure using tools like AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or GCP Operations Suite • Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to enhance system reliability • Work with business leaders, developers, and IT teams to align cloud migration goals • Provide training and guidance to teams on cloud technologies and best practices • Communicate migration progress, risks, and solutions to stakeholders
• Be accountable for helping drive the successful design, architecture, build, test and implementation SAP S/4 Transpiration management solution across all the Amgen manufacturing and distribution sites. • Partner with business leads, business engagement teams to support the development of business cases for delivering the IT roadmap and Business strategy. • Collaborate with Business, Operations IS and ERP solution architects (Order-to-Cash, Record to Report, Source to Settle) for cross functional integrations and E2E solution design. • Serve as solution owner for the SAP transportation management solutions within the global ERP architecture team. • Lead continuous improvements to drive IT effectiveness with the business and IT. • Collaborate with business and operations IS teams to identify future business needs and prioritize resources/effort to support the delivery of business-critical projects, enhancements and process improvements. • Deliver on portfolio investments and ensure business value outcomes are realized based on prioritized business needs. • Drive implementation of cross functional initiatives required for regulatory compliance. • Uses deep business knowledge to drive engagement on major IT initiatives. • Influence architecture decisions and solution choices with business stakeholders and enterprise architects. • Manage Implementation vendor to ensure the effective execution of the projects and services, holding them accountable to project scope, SLAs and critical metrics. • Drive configuration and development activities to meet business requirements through a combination of internal and external teams. • Ensure all the required functional, configuration and technical design documents of SAP TM capabilities are created in compliance with GxP requirements and ERP architecture standards. • Support Validation/QA teams on ensuring GxP compliance of SAP TM capabilities with the corporate standard for IT change management and IT SOPs following 21 CFR Part 11 and Annex 11 requirements. • Promotes adoption of SAP industry best practices within in S/4 transportation management and logistics execution workstream.
