Revenue Cycle Specialist

Radiology Partners

Role Description - Process and track high-volume NSA workstream email inflow and dispute updates with accuracy and efficiency. - Interpret complex arbitrator requests and provide clear, accurate responses and solutions. - Apply NSA workstream knowledge to adapt to evolving payor and arbitrator behaviors. - Monitor NSA principles, deadlines, claim status, eligibility, remits, and payor portal activity. - Maintain accurate high-volume data entry while supporting additional assigned duties. Qualifications - Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. - Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments. - Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. - Collaborative team player with adaptability and willingness to take on challenges. - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred, with 2+ years in customer service, healthcare, or remote work environments. Compensation The hourly range for this position is $24.00-$26.00. Role Description The Self-Pay Collections Specialist will resolve issues associated with balances due on self-pay accounts by working in a customer-oriented manner. They will answer inbound calls to the Revenue Cycle department, and make outbound calls to patients and/or guarantors for resolution of delinquent accounts. What You'll Do: - Handle high volume of incoming and outgoing phone contact. - Review past due bills and supporting documentation regarding account delinquency. - Collect responsible party payments for processing. - Phone correspondence with patients to explain outstanding debt on medical bills. - Accept third party payor information for review and processing. - Identify problem delinquencies and submit to the appropriate department for resolution. - Communicate with Revenue Cycle department to ensure payments are processed in a timely manner. - Assist to resolve matters associated with patient accounts. - Provide excellent customer service in response to patient inquiries. - Collaborate with internal personnel and all departments to achieve common goals. - Communicate issues and concerns with management team and appropriate personnel. - Apply updates to patient accounts as received and as required.
