• Own delivery outcomes for all 3Cloud engagements within the assigned Cognizant market • Where a Market Delivery Unit (MDU) exists: act as the 3Cloud delivery authority, partnering with the MDU to provide expertise, enforce standards, support escalations, and ensure alignment with 3Cloud methods and quality expectations • Where no MDU exists: directly lead delivery execution, governance, and client management for all engagements in the market • Ensure all engagements comply with 3Cloud delivery standards, methods, IP, and quality bars • Provide structured input to the Head of Delivery, Americas on portfolio health, risks, and opportunities within the market • Own and execute the onshore/offshore mix shift within the assigned market, driving toward the service line target of 20% onshore / 80% offshore • Ensure all new engagements are designed and staffed to the target offshore model from inception • Partner with Cognizant Global Delivery Center (GDC) leadership to build and scale offshore delivery capacity specific to the market’s client needs and technical requirements • Define and implement knowledge transfer protocols, team structures, and onshore/offshore role delineation for the market • Lead client-facing conversations about the delivery model evolution, positioning offshore leverage as an investment in scale, resilience, and capability • Monitor offshore delivery quality, productivity, and ramp metrics within the market; intervene rapidly when outcomes are at risk during transitions • Manage onshore workforce implications within the market, including evolving onshore roles toward client engagement, architecture, delivery oversight, and technical governance • Serve as the senior 3Cloud delivery executive for key clients within the market • Support Market and MDU leaders in executive client interactions, account planning, and strategic relationship management • Support market-based account planning and client growth initiatives, ensuring delivery excellence enables renewals, expansions, and client advocacy • Proactively manage client risk during engagement transitions—including the offshore shift—ensuring no degradation in quality, responsiveness, or outcomes • Serve as the primary delivery escalation point for client issues within the market • Sign off on scope, delivery approach, staffing model, and delivery commitments for all 3Cloud pursuits within the market • Validate deliverability, staffing (including onshore/offshore mix), risk, and margin for every engagement • Partner with Market leadership on pursuit strategy; pricing authority remains with the Market • Ensure deals are structured and priced to the target delivery model, reflecting appropriate offshore leverage • Accountable for delivered revenue for 3Cloud within the assigned market • Drive delivery margin through disciplined execution, appropriate offshore leverage, and cost management • Own forecast accuracy and early risk identification; provide transparent financial reporting to the Head of Delivery, Americas • Track and report the margin impact of the offshore transition within the market portfolio • Ensure 3Cloud delivery standards, methods, and IP are consistently applied across all engagements in the market • Hold engagement teams accountable to quality bars, governance expectations, and operating rhythms • Ensure compliance with offshore delivery playbooks and transition protocols established by the service line • Identify gaps, friction points, and improvement opportunities in standards; provide structured input into the ongoing refinement and evolution of 3Cloud delivery standards • Directly manage senior 3Cloud delivery leaders within the market • Influence performance management of matrixed resources—both onshore and offshore—supporting engagement teams within the market • Own 3Cloud capacity planning and skills alignment for the market, ensuring the right mix of onshore and offshore talent is available to meet demand • Partner with GDC leadership on offshore talent readiness, Azure skills development, and ramp timelines specific to market needs • Support the retention and professional development of critical onshore talent as roles evolve toward higher-value functions • Run a consistent operating cadence with Market leadership, MDU leadership (where applicable), and the Head of Delivery, Americas • Conduct regular delivery health and risk reviews across the market portfolio • Conduct revenue and forecast reviews; provide early warning on variances • Lead talent and capacity planning for the market, including onshore/offshore staffing pipeline management • Report on offshore mix progress, transition status, and quality metrics • Provide transparent reporting to Market and 3Cloud Service Line leadership

Job Requirements

  • 12+ years of professional services delivery leadership experience, with at least 3 years at a senior leadership level (Director/VP or equivalent)
  • Demonstrated accountability for delivered revenue of $30M+ within a defined market, industry, or portfolio
  • Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure / cloud transformation delivery, including data, AI, infrastructure, and/or application modernization
  • Proven experience managing onshore/offshore delivery models, including knowledge transfer, team standup, and quality management across distributed teams
  • Experience operating in a matrixed environment with market-aligned, industry-aligned, or account-aligned delivery structures
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in deal-level delivery validation, staffing models, pricing inputs, and risk assessment
  • Track record of maintaining or improving client satisfaction during delivery model transitions
  • Executive presence with the ability to engage at the VP/C-suite level with clients and internal market leadership.
  • Experience at a major systems integrator (e.g., Cognizant, Accenture, Deloitte, Infosys) with direct accountability for onshore/offshore delivery optimization
  • Familiarity with Cognizant’s market structure, MDU operating model, and global delivery center infrastructure
  • Deep industry expertise in the assigned market (e.g., banking/insurance, healthcare/life sciences, retail/CPG, communications/media/technology, manufacturing/energy/utilities)
  • Experience with managed services or recurring revenue delivery models alongside project-based delivery
  • Background in building or scaling offshore Azure/cloud delivery teams.
