Role Description The Senior Emergency Response Officer supports the planning, coordination, and implementation of global outbreak response activities. This role is critical in tracking and reporting on response efforts, while working closely with technical, finance, and operations teams to ensure timely and appropriate mobilization of resources. The officer also develops practical tools and guidance to strengthen emergency response operations and works within established incident management frameworks to enhance outbreak readiness and execution. In addition, the role contributes to knowledge products by developing and managing reports, technical materials, and conflict-sensitive solutions. Working closely with project teams and headquarters (HQ), the officer supports projects by evaluating program effectiveness, overseeing technical and operational activities, and delivering assessment reports. The position also contributes to business development efforts, including identifying opportunities, supporting capture and proposal development, and fostering strategic partnerships.
