Job Description
Product Manager
Lazer Technologies
• Lead client discovery sessions post-sale to understand business goals, customer journeys, and operational processes. • Partner with Technical Architects, Solutions Engineers, and Delivery Managers to define clear project scope and alignment. • Translate discovery findings into a product vision, measurable objectives, and an agreed scope baseline. • Support decision-making around change requests, scope variations, and timeline impacts, balancing commercial, technical, and client needs. • Build and maintain a structured product backlog — defining epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria with clarity and priority. • Facilitate trade-off discussions with client and internal teams, ensuring alignment with scope and outcomes. • Own the roadmap and prioritization process for migrations, new builds, and optimization projects. • Work closely with Delivery Managers, Technical Architects, and Engineers to ensure delivery aligns with defined goals. • Provide continuous product context during sprints, removing ambiguity and safeguarding scope boundaries. • Support UAT and client enablement before and after releases. • Focus on KPIs tied to conversion, AOV, retention, scalability, and operational efficiency. • Review delivered functionality with clients, recommending iterative improvements while maintaining scope discipline. • Act as a strategic product partner, driving growth and long-term value for enterprise Shopify clients. • Help establish Product Management as a discipline within the agency — building frameworks for discovery, documentation, and delivery. • Mentor peers in product-led, scope-driven thinking across teams. • Contribute to agency thought leadership, developing case studies and best practices for enterprise commerce.
Job Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Product Management or similar roles (Business Analyst, Product Owner)
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale digital commerce projects, including platform migrations from legacy systems like SFCC, Magento, or Hybris to modern SaaS ecosystems.
- Deeply familiar with Shopify Plus and the broader commerce technology stack — from ERP and OMS to PIM, CRM, CDP, and payments.
- Thrive in enterprise stakeholder environments, collaborating confidently with C-suite, product, and engineering teams.
- Fluent in agile delivery practices (Scrum, SAFe) and discovery frameworks, with a structured yet flexible mindset.
- Exceptional communicator and facilitator who can bring clarity, alignment, and focus to complex, multi-stakeholder projects.
- Combine technical literacy (APIs, integrations, architecture fundamentals) with strong commercial acumen, always focused on ROI and client value.
- Analytical and detail-oriented, comfortable defining and tracking KPIs that measure success and impact.
- Adaptable and thrive in ambiguity — driving clarity, protecting scope, and helping teams deliver meaningful results.
