About the role Join our ambitious team as a Dev Ops Engineer supporting the hosting platform for the PayGlobal enterprise payroll solution. This position plays a key role in keeping our production environments stable, efficient, and secure. You will collaborate with multiple teams, such as Product Management, Delivery Managers, Architects, Developers, and more. Your knowledge will enable us to implement streamlined build, provisioning, deployment, and monitoring workflows. Additionally, you'll be able to mentor junior Dev Ops Engineers and engage in 24/7 on-call schedules to maintain flawless operations. The skills you'll need - Experience as a Dev Ops Engineer working within a team, including over 2 years in an agile, large-scale, commercial environment. - Proven community engagement within the software engineering and development operations sectors. - Solid experience coordinating continuous integration systems like BuildKite, TeamCity, or similar tools. - Proficient in Python, PowerShell, C#, and AWS CDK with experience in multi-account pipelines. - Extensive knowledge of SDLC principles and methodologies, including Agile, Lean, Kanban, and Continuous Delivery. - Able to harness AI every day to find innovative and efficient ways to deliver objectives. - Expertise in MS SQL Server, Remote Desktop Services, and Amazon cloud technologies such as S3 storage, CloudWatch monitoring, and CloudFormation. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Build, deploy safely and incrementally, and operate critical production systems with focus on scalability, reliability, observability, performance and security. • Build automation to remove toil and proactively monitor, respond to, and enhance alerts with automated handling. • Create and maintain incident response runbooks, triage platform and infrastructural issues, and write postmortem documents to prevent recurring incidents. • Plan and communicate maintenance windows on production systems while engaging with 3rd party vendor support as needed. • Work with Arista's product development teams to identify infrastructural bottlenecks and design solutions to enhance developer experience and workflow efficiency. • Survey and adopt best practices around infrastructure and platform design to maintain secure, scalable and fault-tolerant systems, including studying OSS system implementations for better triage and resolution.

• Collaborate directly with customers, providing strategic guidance and technical expertise. • Own the vision for AI operations implementation, building end-to-end workflows and taking them to production. • Translate complex business challenges into actionable technical plans. • Rapidly prototype AI solutions to demonstrate possibilities to clients. • Engineer production-grade AI solutions with deep knowledge of AI tooling, architecture, and deployment. • Manage stakeholder alignment, proactively escalating issues and requesting support when necessary. • Design and build LLM workflows, RAG pipelines, agentic systems, and custom data pipelines.

• Design, build, and maintain Terraform Infrastructure as Code for Azure payment platform environments (dev, UAT, prod) using reusable modules and policy-as-code guardrails • Own end-to-end M365 Copilot Studio agent lifecycle—environment strategy, solution packaging, automated promotion, telemetry, and governance for payment-focused agents • Operate Power Platform ALM (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) using managed environments, the ALM Accelerator, and pipelines integrated with GitHub Actions • Build and maintain GitHub-native CI/CD pipelines using Actions, OIDC federation, environments, and reusable workflows for .NET, TypeScript, and IaC repositories • Implement and harden Azure platform services for payments—AKS, Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus, and Key Vault—with secure-by-default networking and identity • Drive observability, reliability, and incident response across payment workloads using Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and OpenTelemetry • Partner with software, data, and AI engineers to deploy, evaluate, and operate Azure OpenAI and Azure AI Foundry workloads supporting payment initiatives • Mentor developers on DevOps practices, IaC patterns, and Power Platform / Copilot Studio governance; champion compliance with PCI DSS, change management, and SDLC standards.
