Senior Demand Planner

Role Description Eaton’s Data Center division is currently seeking a Senior Demand Planner to join our team. This position is hybrid with preference for this person to be in Raleigh NC or Woodridge, IL. Will consider remote within the US. As a Demand Planner, you will be a key member of the Supply Chain team responsible for developing, maintaining, and continuously improving demand forecasts that support production planning, inventory optimization, and customer service objectives. This role partners cross-functionally to align demand signals with supply capabilities and business goals. The expected annual salary range for this role is $97,000 - $143,000 a year. What you’ll do: - Develop and maintain accurate short-, mid-, and long-term demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and customer inputs. - Lead demand review activities within the SIOP process, analyzing forecast changes, risks, and opportunities, and recommending actions to meet service and inventory targets. - Analyze forecast accuracy, bias, and key demand drivers; identify root causes and implement continuous improvement actions. - Prepare and present weekly and monthly reporting on forecast accuracy, demand trends, and planning assumptions to leadership. - Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Operations to incorporate promotions, new program assumptions, customer commitments, and market intelligence into forecasts. - Monitor demand variability and identify risks related to forecast volatility, capacity constraints, or customer changes. - Maintain accurate demand planning and item master data within the ERP and planning systems. - Support inventory optimization by balancing forecast accuracy, service levels, and working capital objectives. - Support New Product Introductions (NPI) by developing ramp-up/ramp-down forecasts and managing lifecycle transitions and phase-in/phase-out plans.
