• Actively contribute to the strategic account planning process with sales leadership to identify and prioritize growth opportunities • Support the Challenger Sales Methodology by converting supply chain research insights into sales-friendly content • Contribute supply chain insights for specific sales opportunities through regular sales team growth calls • Support sales with methods to access Decision Makers in sales cycles and build trust-based relationships • Provide support for closing steps in sales cycles, including proactive objection handling and business case development • Collaborate across Gartner on growth programs and apply effective change management techniques • Assist sales partners in qualifying prospective new business opportunities for the CSCO portfolio • Utilize globally consistent processes to drive new business opportunities with field sales executives • Participate in internal service kick-off (SKO) preparation meetings for new clients • Quota achievement in new business
Job Requirements
- 15+ years working in supply chain leadership and or consulting
- Two + or more years of experience as a Supply Chain Leadership Partner who has mastered the role
- Experience in a sales-focused role (preferably within a consulting environment)
- Strong understanding of sales metrics
- In-depth knowledge of the variety of Supply Chain executive roles and responsibilities
- A history of coaching, presenting, and collaborating at a senior level (C-level preferable)
- Advanced critical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
- Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills
- Superior verbal, written, facilitation and presentation skills (Executive Presence)
- Demonstrable sales and/or business development experience with CXO level executives

Role Description This role is intended to be a 6 month contract (could be extended per business need), approx. 30 hours / week. The Inventory & Allocation Planner will support day-to-day execution of inventory planning, allocation, and replenishment activities across DTC, retail, marketplace, and wholesale channels. This role is highly data-driven, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. The Planner will work closely with the Senior Allocation & Inventory Manager, operations, sales, and demand planning teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory deployment. - Inventory Management & Allocation Support - Execute allocation plans across customer channels based on direction from the Senior Allocation & Inventory Manager. - Monitor inventory positions, sales trends, and inbound shipments to identify risks or gaps. - Adjust allocations and replenishments as needed to reflect updated supply and demand conditions. - Maintain allocation records and ensure accuracy in ERP and planning systems. - Replenishment & Order Fulfillment - Coordinate with 3PL and warehouse teams to ensure on-time order fulfillment according to allocation priorities. - Track inbound inventory and align distribution timing with customer needs and promotional events. - Support product launch allocations and ensure execution against the launch plan. - Analysis & Reporting - Update and maintain key allocation and inventory reports for stakeholders. - Analyze allocation performance and provide insights to improve stock placement and sell-through. - Assist with monitoring slow-moving or excess inventory and recommend redistribution opportunities. - Collaboration & Process Support - Partner with demand planning to ensure allocations reflect the latest sales forecasts. - Communicate allocation changes to sales, operations, and customer service teams in a clear and timely manner. - Support process improvements to increase allocation accuracy and efficiency. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience. - 2–3 years of experience in allocation, inventory management, or supply chain planning, preferably in consumer goods, retail, or e-commerce. - Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP or planning systems. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Ability to work collaboratively across teams and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
