Network and Systems Administrator - Corporate

While we are a fully-remote company, we are accepting candidates who reside and work daily within 2 hours of Eastern Time. As a Corporate Network and Systems Administrator at Rubris, you will be responsible for managing our Microsoft 365 environment, security management, software partnerships and licensing, and hardware inventory management. This role combines operational execution, third-party vendor partnership, and experience managing the environment within a fully remote company. Key Responsibilities Microsoft 365 & User Management • Manage and configure Rubris 365 environment and users • Onboard and offboard users • Ensure proper roles and permissions configurations • Define user profile types for proper configuration • Perform periodic audits of user accounts and data • Ensure MFA is configured on all accounts accessing Rubris resources • Manage and audit Microsoft user licenses • Serve as point of contact for renewals Shared Mailbox Management • Create and manage access to shared mailboxes • Perform periodic audits to ensure mailboxes are still in use Security Management • Configure, manage, and monitor Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Office 365, Identity, and Cloud Apps • Manage Defender updates, exclusions, and threat intelligence settings • Stay current on Microsoft security technologies, threat landscape, and best practices • Support incident response and forensics investigations involving Microsoft Defender data • Maintain security policies, alerts, and automation workflows • Conduct regular audits and compliance reviews • Review quarantined email daily and release false positives Device & License Management • Manage document retention • Oversee mobile device management • Manage third-party software licenses and vendors Hardware Inventory Management • Manage laptop inventory (provisioning/decommissioning, purchasing) • Manage Vision-Bot (configurations, reporting, troubleshooting) • Ensure clear and current documentation • Audit user laptop data Internal Process Support • Document and enforce Rubris IT policies • Build Power Automate workflows for internal use • Handle secure document handling according to procedures What you Bring Our Company Rubris provides transformational legal technology and solutions for complex business and legal processes in the mass tort industry. Job Requirements

  • Experience: 5+ years as a corporate network administrator, preferably within a software or professional services environment. Experience in a remote work environment a plus.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, equivalent experience considered
  • Detail-Oriented: Accuracy, timeliness, and turning data into meaningful insights are critical
  • Collaborative Communicator: Excellent interpersonal skills with a professional approach
  • Adaptable: Ability to thrive in an evolving environment, with interest in both managing details and suggesting ideas that align with security and compliance objectives
