Proposal Writer, Researcher – Contract

Impact Investment Exchange (IIX)

• Lead project management and stakeholder relationships and work closely with IIX’s core R&A team in managing the project • Manage key R&A project-level relationships for IIX with key stakeholders • Manage IIX’s research writers/field consultants, review their output, and provide inputs on project deliverables • Lead organization of events/workshops and support in engaging with impact investing ecosystem players, donors, and partners • Conduct market ecosystem research to further gender-lens investing • Research new and emerging thematic and impact investment trends • Develop outreach materials such as policy paper, concept notes and pitch decks • Pursuit of strategic, organization-wide business development initiatives • Source, prepare and submit requests for proposal (RFPs) and expressions of interest (EOIs) from global and regional tendering organizations • Prepare external marketing and strategic business development materials • Collaborate to effectively execute client engagements • Collaborate with colleagues from other teams on inter-department ongoing project management and strategic pursuits

Job Requirements

  • 4-9 years of progressive experience in project management, research, management consulting and/or similar experience, with a focus on Indonesia & Southeast Asia
  • Familiarity with the financing/investment and SME landscape in Indonesia preferred
  • Experience in conducting training, market research and writing/management of research reports
  • Excellent research and technical writing skills (applicants will be required to submit past writing outputs and may be asked to undergo additional writing tests)
  • Experience in engaging with multiple stakeholders in Indonesia across public and private sectors preferred
  • Excellent team player and interpersonal skills, with strong leadership ability
  • Outstanding presentation and verbal/written communication
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia
