Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Accounting, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in IT audit, SOX compliance, or risk management
  • Demonstrated expertise in identifying, designing, and testing IT controls
  • Deep knowledge of SOX 404, COSO framework, COBIT principles
  • Hands-on experience with IT controls domains including access management and disaster recovery
  • Proven ability to communicate technical risks and control concepts effectively
  • Experience working in high-velocity engineering organizations

COMPENSATION & LOCATION The salary range for this role is $70,000-$75,000. This position is Hybrid based out of our Elk Grove Village location. POSITION SUMMARY The Manager, Patient Access & Enrollment (Admissions) – Specialty Pharmacy is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, performance management, and operational oversight of the Intake and Enrollment team across a hybrid workforce. This role leads and develops both onsite and remote team members, ensuring consistent performance, accountability, engagement, and adherence to standards regardless of location. The Manager drives timely, accurate, and compliant patient enrollment and insurance eligibility activities, resolves process issues affecting enrollment throughput, and delivers results against access, quality, and productivity goals. The role partners closely with pharmacy operations, prior authorization, and billing teams to ensure smooth patient intake and downstream readiness. ESSENTIAL DUTIES - Direct Team Leadership: Supervise a mix of Supervisors and Enrollment Representatives, including staffing, scheduling, onboarding, training reinforcement, coaching, and performance management. - Operational Oversight: Monitor daily enrollment volumes, eligibility completion, claim rejection resolution, and documentation accuracy; remove barriers impacting turnaround time. - Quality & Compliance: Ensure adherence to SOPs, HIPAA requirements, payer rules, and documentation standards; conduct regular quality reviews and audits. - Cross-Functional Coordination: Partner with Admissions, Pharmacy, Access, and Billing teams to resolve enrollment issues and improve handoffs. - Reporting & Metrics: Track KPIs, analyze trends, escalate risks, and report performance to leadership; support continuous improvement initiatives. - Process Improvement: Identify workflow inefficiencies, contribute to SOP updates, and support implementation of new tools or processes impacting enrollment. - Other duties and responsibilities as required.
