Job Description
Team Lead, Remediation
Tamnoon
Join the visionary team at Tamnoon and help us shape the future of cloud security! As a Team Lead, Remediation, you will be a hands-on technical leader responsible for driving high-quality cloud security investigations and remediation outcomes for Tamnoon customers. This role is built for a principal-level practitioner who thrives in ambiguity, can dive deep into cloud environments, and knows how to guide both customers and teammates through complex remediation decisions. You’ll spend the majority of your time investigating findings, validating remediation paths, supporting customer escalations, and setting the technical bar for the team. You’ll partner closely with Product, Engineering, and sales teams to ensure Tamnoon’s remediation logic is practical, scalable, and rooted in real-world cloud security challenges.

- Validate AI-generated security outcomes and modify recommendations as needed to ensure remediation decisions maintain a safely operated environment
- Contribute security content and remediation guidance for scenarios not yet covered by AI, applying the same safe remediation standards
- Independently own customer accounts, guiding them end-to-end through the remediation process
- Quickly pivot between big-picture architecture and granular technical details
- Support and lead customer escalations with confidence and clarity
- Customer-Facing Technical Lead
- Run technical customer meetings focused on remediation progress and outcomes
- Communicate clearly and succinctly with both technical teams and executives

- Influence customer remediation decisions with strong technical judgment
- Team & Technical Lead
- Act as the technical bar-raiser for the Remediation Research team
- Mentor and guide investigators through complex problem-solving
- Help shape investigation workflows, triage processes, and remediation standard
- Allocate work effectively and ensure consistent, high-quality output
- Build a culture of curiosity, ownership, and practical problem-solving
- Product & Engineering Collaboration
- Feed real-world remediation insights and patterns back to Product and Engineering
- Validate remediation logic, edge cases, and decision flows
- Contribute to automation playbooks, frameworks, and scalable remediation approaches
- Help define how remediation intelligence evolves as Tamnoon grows
- What You Will Bring:
- Practitioner-level experience in cloud security, remediation, SOC, IR, DevSecOps, or detection engineering
- Strong hands-on experience in AWS or Azure or GCP
- Proven ability to investigate cloud security issues and drive remediation end-to-end
- Background in vulnerability management and cloud misconfigurations
- Ability to clearly explain why something is risky and how to fix it
- Comfortable owning customer relationships and leading technical discussions
- Communication
- Confident, concise communicator (especially under pressure)
- Able to switch between non-technical explanations and deep technical detail
- Strong investigation mindset — you don’t freeze when the answer isn’t obvious
- Bonus Superpowers
- If you have one or more of these, even better:
- Experience with CSPM / CNAPP tools (Wiz, Prisma, Orca, CrowdStrike, Lacework, etc.)
- Broad experience across multiple cloud providers
- Kubernetes or container security experience
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Python or scripting experience for automation and investigation
- Experience building security governance across large cloud estates
