Job Description
Account Executive
Pushpay
• Identify and develop a pipeline of prospective parish customers through research, cold-calling, internet and professional networking. • You own the sales process, which may include a geographical or national sales focus. • Collaborate and partner with internal Pushpay teams including Sales, Sales Development, Marketing, Implementation and other partner affiliates to execute company initiatives. • You will be required to work within a budget for travel and entertainment (dinners, activities, etc.). Track record of over-achieving against sales quota. • You will regularly be required to search out and start new endeavors, bringing structure where there is ambiguity. • You will be expected to have the ability to connect with all types of people. Executive-level leaders to new hires. • Manage the entire sales process from prospect to close. This includes product demonstration, negotiating and closing contracts. • You are expected to achieve and maintain a high level of activity and prospect daily and experience making 50+ calls per day and send 50+ follow up emails. • You will be held accountable to closing new business while cultivating relationships to be used to expand into additional accounts. • Be a continuous learner of the competitive landscape (strengths, weaknesses, benefits) and determine how to position Pushpay to win. • Travel to prospects as needed with up to 60% of your time spent traveling. • Speaking on the phone and in person. • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of technology sales experience or church growth experience.
- Deep understanding of the Catholic church and how they make purchase decisions.
- More than 1 year of working with and closing business with parish leaders.
- Strong business & financial acumen.
- Strong executive engagement skills.
- An in depth understanding of the Catholic market.
- Results driven.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Sense of urgency and a bias towards action.
