Senior Marketing Manager – Global Events & Experiences

Sophos

• Lead end-to-end execution for Black Hat, RSA, Gartner, it-sa, and other major shows working alongside field marketing in regions • Own booth strategy, messaging hierarchy, and brand environment • Drive planning and execution for Sales Kickoff, President's Club, launch events, and more • Align branding, messaging, content production, and logistics • Manage global and regional formats including hybrid delivery • Build a tiered library of pre-defined event kits for regional and field teams • Define booth aesthetics, activations, swag, and messaging by event type and scale • Ensure regional teams can execute consistently without starting from scratch • Define and govern event brand standards globally • Oversee swag strategy, vendor relationships, and production timelines • Drive global consistency of Sophos branded promotional items and attire • Partner with Design to evolve booth creative year over year • Partner with Public Relations on speaker bureau activation at events • Align speaker opportunities to event strategy and Sophos messaging priorities • Serve as the central coordination point across field sales, channel, product marketing, PR, and design • Build event calendars, reporting frameworks, and post-event measurement practices • Identify and curate corporate promotional sponsorship opportunities to elevate the Sophos brand • Manage budgets across a portfolio of global events

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years in B2B event management, with at least 2 in a global or multi-regional scope
  • Experience owning major tradeshow presence: booth strategy, build, logistics, and activation
  • Track record running large-scale internal events: SKO, sales rallies, or partner summits
  • Demonstrated ability to build scalable systems and toolkits, not just execute individual events
  • Strong vendor and agency management skills
  • Proficiency using AI tools for planning, content development, and operational efficiency; this is a standard expectation of the role
  • Sharp communicator comfortable with senior stakeholders and cross-functional partners
  • Preferred: Background in cybersecurity or enterprise technology
  • Preferred: Experience with channel or partner-facing event formats
  • Preferred: Familiarity coordinating with PR or communications teams on speaker programs
  • Preferred: Exposure to webinar or virtual event production at scale
