SmarshSmarsh enables organizations to manage the risk and uncover the value within their communications data.
• Plan and execute generative research: user interviews, contextual inquiry, diary studies, and ethnographic observation to uncover unmet needs and opportunity spaces. • Design and run evaluative research: usability studies, concept testing, prototype reviews, and survey-based validation at key product milestones. • Define research questions collaboratively with product, design, and engineering partners, then own execution from recruitment through synthesis. • Develop and maintain a research repository that makes insights discoverable and actionable across teams. • Communicate findings clearly to audiences ranging from ICs to senior leadership, adapting depth and format to the audience. • Advocate for the user in roadmap and prioritization conversations, backed by evidence. • Contribute to and evolve team research standards, tools, and practices.
• You will be essential in creating the strategic vision for orchestrating AI agents for communication with users. • You will create intuitive, functional flows, conduct research, validate solutions, and surface insights. • Develop and improve products focused on user experiences that leverage Artificial Intelligence for interactions. • Participate in Discovery and value proposition definition, representing the user's voice by mapping and defining user journeys and building navigation flowcharts. • Prototype service experiences using Generative AI, connecting real user needs when seeking support on digital channels with Generative AI initiatives. • Contribute to the product's conversational design, creating a consistent experience. • Create and optimize interaction flows that guide users intuitively, mapping journeys and interaction flows across different use contexts and user profiles. • Design fallback experiences and intent-confirmation rephrasing to enable a smoother transition between deterministic decision-tree flows and conversations driven by a generative model. • Optimize content for intelligent systems, ensuring information is relevant and natural. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design and copy solutions into the product. • Conduct research to validate and improve user interactions. • Ensure business rules and guidelines are incorporated into the solution.
• Own the design infrastructure that accelerates Momentus' AI-first product strategy. • Audit existing product-line-specific Figma libraries, then lead the migration to a component system that lives in code with tokens as the source of truth • Build and maintain LLM-readable system documentation, accessible to designers, engineers, and Claude • Own the context layer: structured prompt libraries, MCP server integration, and system artifacts that keep Claude producing consistent, on-brand, accessible output • Establish governance that accounts for AI-generated code, not just human-authored contributions • Track and report on system health metrics tied to business outcomes: product velocity, cycle time, and features shipped, alongside coverage and adoption • Lead the design of Momentus' AI interaction patterns as the primary design surface, covering non-deterministic outputs, trust and transparency, agentic workflow UIs, and progressive disclosure of AI behavior • Define standards for how AI features look, feel, and communicate across all product lines • Create reusable patterns for supporting surfaces: onboarding flows, reporting and analytics interfaces, and dashboards • Partner with Engineering to define token architecture, component APIs, and the front-end structure that makes the system scalable and AI-agent-consumable • Collaborate with Product Management to sequence system work against the AI-first product roadmap • Elevate design team capability through pairing, critique, and informal mentorship across all product lines • Define and uphold visual and interaction quality standards across all product lines • Champion accessibility to WCAG 2.2 AA, using AI tooling (automated audits, contrast checks, alt-text generation) to accelerate compliance rather than treat it as overhead • Contribute to design reviews with feedback grounded in system standards and AI-first principles • Own annual VPAT generation across all product lines, coordinating with Engineering and QA to assess conformance, document findings accurately, and publish updated reports on a defined cadence
