Role Description The Business Development Executive is responsible for generating new leads, following new and existing leads, and successfully closing sales. The position also involves communication with customers and both internal and external business partners to ensure a high-quality outcome. This position offers a base salary with a commission structure, with commission payments distributed on a monthly basis. - Responsible for meeting sales goals and metrics for new business growth in a defined territory. - Oversee the entire new business relationship, including: - Prospecting - Cold calls - Creating opportunities - Closing business deals - Realizing the customer’s initial purchases - Effectively manage prospects and new customers in challenging situations, providing solutions that invoke feelings of confidence, security, and respect. - Lead proposals, negotiations, and coordinate complex decision-making processes while overcoming objections to maximize new business sales and growth. - Coordinate with estimating team on new projects using the ERP system. - Analyze accounts, monitor revenue trends, and competitive information to develop customer cost savings and pricing recommendations. - Manage the new account setup process, interfacing with Credit, Billing, Account Management, and Customer Service team members to establish a seamless customer onboarding experience. - Compile weekly sales recaps on achievements, losses, and competitive information in CRM software (Pipedrive). - Update and maintain a database with accurate customer account information, along with all business activities and communication. - Manage and grow existing business on a yearly basis by addressing customer needs.
