Role Description The Credit Administration team is responsible for company-wide credit oversight, including credit quality, policy, administration, and credit-related processes, with a focus on loan portfolio management and reporting, including segmentation and assessment of our exposures under normal and stressed scenarios. Within Credit Administration, the Appraisal Review team supports Commercial, Small Business, and Consumer Lending. As a Senior Commercial Review Appraiser, you will ensure compliance with the valuation of real property as outlined in federal regulations and bank policy in order to mitigate risk. How you will spend your time: - Solicit bids from qualified appraisers, engage appraisals, and act as liaison during the appraisal process with appraisers and internal customers. - Complete internal evaluations and validations of commercial real estate properties. - Review and validate appraisals of complex and higher-risk commercial property types. Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree. - Minimum of five (5) years of experience in appraising and/or reviewing appraisals for commercial and/or residential real estate properties. - State certified general commercial appraiser. - Demonstrated ability to effectively apply bank policy and regulatory requirements to daily responsibilities. Requirements Compensation Range: $83,200.00 - $178,800.00 The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB’s standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors. In addition, this range does not encompass the full earning potential for this role.
