Arabic Language Manager

• Lead language quality initiatives for Arabic; conducting localization reviews, UX testing, and identifying linguistic, functional, and cultural discrepancies to ensure an optimal local product experience. • Apply and refine LLM prompts and AI workflows to drive language quality, terminology consistency, and efficiency across Arabic content. Document and share prompt learnings with the team. Evaluate AI output quality systematically and flag issues. • Connect localization output to content performance and SEO signals in the Arabic market, turning user feedback and market data into measurable improvements in acquisition, conversion, and engagement. • Partner with Product, Design, Content System, Engineering, Marketing, and SEO to influence upstream decisions, ensuring Arabic users get a fully localized experience (not just translated strings), including RTL behavior, cultural appropriateness, dialect/MSA tone choices, and content readiness. • Lead Arabic localization projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors to align on goals, timelines, and quality bars. • Champion Arabic-speaking users by researching, gathering, and synthesizing customer feedback. Offer insights on UI, UX, content, and design to enhance the local user experience. • Work with the team to assess language service providers and freelancers; delivering feedback, training, and performance management to uphold high-quality standards. • Maintain Arabic translation assets (style guide, glossary, translation memory) and ensure they evolve with the product and the market. • Engage cross-functional teams with insights on Arabic market potential; identifying opportunities, threats, and competitor activities by segment/country within the region to inform strategic decisions. • Ensure all localized content adheres to global brand guidelines while maintaining a distinct Arabic brand tone that resonates with the local market and drives engagement and conversion.

Job Requirements

  • Native fluency in Arabic and business proficiency in English.
  • BA or equivalent in translation, linguistics, content marketing, communications, or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in Arabic translation, localization, or LQA, with a proven track record of leading projects from inception to completion.
  • Experience conducting localization reviews, testing, and managing language quality initiatives for Arabic-speaking markets.
  • Hands-on experience using AI/LLM tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude, MT engines) in localization workflows, including prompt design, AI output QA, and post-editing. Comfort iterating on prompts and AI-assisted review pipelines.
  • Proficiency with Translation Management Systems (TMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Experience in creative translation and transcreation, with the ability to adapt content to fit Arabic cultural context (including dialect/MSA decisions, gender, formality, religious and cultural sensitivity).
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams; product, design, content, engineering, marketing, and external vendors.
  • Ability to conduct market research, gather customer feedback, and provide insights on UI/UX design to enhance local user experience.
  • Experience assessing and managing language service providers, including feedback, training, and performance management.
