Title: Part-Time Program Assistant Location: Paramus, NJ, US Part Time Requisition ID: 1657 Salary Range:$25.00 To $29.00 Hourly Job Description: The Program Assistant supports the development, promotion, and delivery of Continuing Education programs. This role blends program operations with marketing and outreach, contributing to everything from program launch to the student experience. Responsibilities include coordinating program logistics, supporting enrollment efforts, and assisting with marketing initiatives across digital and in-person channels. The Assistant Program Manager also serves as a key point of contact for students, ensuring a smooth, responsive, and high-quality experience from initial interest through course completion. POSITION SUMMARY Responsibilities included but are not limited to: - Support the planning, coordination, and execution of Continuing Education programs from launch through completion - Coordinate program logistics, including scheduling, classroom setup, materials, and instructor needs - Assist with student enrollment and registration processes, ensuring a smooth and responsive experience - Serve as a primary point of contact for Continuing Education students, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely, professional manner - Contribute to marketing and outreach efforts, including updating program information, supporting campaigns, and promoting offerings across digital and in-person channels - Support enrollment growth by assisting prospective students with course selection and general program guidance - Coordinate with instructors on onboarding, communication, scheduling, and classroom support - Maintain accurate program records, enrollment data, and course information across CEWD systems - Assist with routine reporting and ensure data accuracy for program tracking and evaluation - Monitor day-to-day program activity to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery - Collaborate with internal teams to support program operations, communication, and student experience - Support the implementation of new programs and initiatives, helping bring ideas from concept to execution - Work closely with the Program Manager to align daily operations with program goals and priorities SPECIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Education: Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred in education, communications, business, or related field Experience: Experience in continuing education, youth programs, or community-based programming preferred Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills Proficiency in Google Workspace and ability to manage data systems HOURLY AND BENEFITS - $25-$29/hour - Earned Sick Leave - Pension eligible - 403B eligible - Employee Assistance Program Bergen Community College provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.

Role Description The Program/Evaluation Specialist works under the direction of a Senior Director of Evaluation, and in collaboration with the Program & Data Unit, as well as with internal staff across goal areas to support the unit’s portfolio of work. This position affords the opportunity to lead the development of data requirements and their alignment to programmatic Theories of Change and Standards of Practice to evaluate strategy intent and outcomes in alignment with First Things First’s commitment to advance equitable outcomes for children and families. The Program/Evaluation Specialist leads and conducts grant partner training to support the successful submission of data required for program monitoring, inclusive of the ongoing provision of technical support/assistance and analysis of data to inform outcomes.
