Senior National Account Manager Location: Olathe, KS, United States This is a remote position, but it would be beneficial for the candidate to be close to a Terracon office. Our national account team is looking to add a Senior National Account Manager (NAM) who will play a key role in providing Terracon's engineering consulting services to clients.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in decentralized national client development and management. In this role, you will work to build trust with existing and new clients and foster long-term and sustainable client relationships; connect resources internally and externally, leading to opportunities with existing and prospective clients; and advance the prosperous growth of the national account program. This is a remote position but would be beneficial for the candidate to be close to a Terracon office. Essential Roles and Responsibilities: - Partner with large decentralized national clients to understand and meet their business objectives, while increasing revenue and profit. - Act as the single point of contact, where applicable, to promote existing and new services; set targets; manage and lead cross-selling, proposal development, and contract negotiation of multiple service lines; and ensure healthy relationships between Terracon and clients. - Help connect clients' needs to Terracon's expertise and resources on one-off, portfolio, and programmatic projects nationwide and ensures clients' interests are protected and their business expectations are achieved. - Champion the identification, pursuit, and generation of new leads with prospective and current clients. - Work closely with local Operations management to optimize national account performance. - Assist in the development and implementation of the FLI Sector annual strategic plan and help execute long-term business and marketing strategies. - Use company platforms such as CRM, Power BI, Dodge, and others to help track the progress and results of strategic goals. - Actively participate and seek leadership roles in selected industry professional organizations, associations, and technical meetings/events as a representative of Terracon. - Help create and model a safe work environment; demonstrate safe work practices and always promote an Incident & Injury Free (IIFTM) culture. - Travel nationally for client meetings, conferences, and internal meetings as required Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Architecture, Geology, Environmental Science or related degree and a minimum of 10 years of related professional services experience. - Experience leading business development strategy and building programs for large, decentralized AEC firms. - Experience in marketing professional services and managing accounts. - High level of presentation and sales skills are desired. An advanced business degree (i.e. MBA) is a plus. - Valid driver's license.
