Role Description EnForce Consulting, an HR-Path Company, is seeking a Dayforce Payroll Implementation Consultant to support the successful deployment of Ceridian Dayforce Payroll solutions across a diverse client base. This role participates in all phases of the implementation lifecycle, including: - Discovery - Configuration - Testing - Deployment - Post–go-live support The Consultant is responsible for: - Gathering payroll-specific requirements - Configuring Dayforce Payroll modules - Managing client expectations - Identifying risks - Communicating effectively with Project Managers and client stakeholders This role may also provide Organizational Readiness consulting and guidance to Associate Consultants, especially related to payroll processes and employee-facing readiness. We are very open to candidates who have payroll implementation experience in another HRIS or payroll platform and are excited and ready to be cross-trained and certified in Ceridian Dayforce. This role can be fully remote, or hybrid in Dallas, Texas. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Human Resources, or a related field - 3–5 years of software or HRIS implementation experience with a strong focus on Payroll Administration - Hands-on experience implementing payroll within SaaS/Cloud HCM platforms - Experience with one or more of the following systems: Ceridian Dayforce (preferred), Workday, UKG, ADP, Ultimate, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or other payroll systems - Strong understanding of payroll processes, including earnings, deductions, taxes, payroll cycles, and compliance requirements - Experience supporting or leading payroll processing cycles and year-end activities - Experience in business process mapping; change management experience is a plus - Working knowledge of payroll-related data files, integrations, and interfaces (e.g., tax filings, GL, banking) - Proficiency in SQL and XML is a plus - Strong Microsoft Office skills - Ability to manage multiple clients and project workstreams simultaneously - Strong facilitation skills for workshops and client-facing sessions - Highly detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working independently - Excellent communication, collaboration, and time-management skills - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment (especially during payroll cycles and year-end) - Willingness to travel on a limited basis Requirements - Develop and manage project plans to ensure timely, on-budget delivery of Dayforce Payroll implementations - Lead payroll-focused client discovery sessions, document requirements, and translate them into Dayforce configuration - Configure Dayforce Payroll modules, including earnings, deductions, taxes, pay groups, pay policies, and employee self-service - Support and lead payroll cycle planning, configuration, testing, and client readiness activities - Facilitate solution design, configuration, unit testing, integration testing, training, and deployment activities related to payroll - Conduct consulting sessions (phone, video, or in person) and prepare meeting notes and deliverables - Partner closely with Project Managers to provide updates on tasks, timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies - Advise clients on Dayforce and payroll administration best practices to maximize efficiency, compliance, and employee experience - Collaborate with internal teams, client stakeholders, and third-party vendors (tax providers, banking partners, integrations) - Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee and payroll data - Perform payroll data audits and recommend corrective actions - Provide post‑go‑live consulting support for payroll administration and payroll processing cycles, including year-end activities - Support payroll-related integrations and file feeds, including tax filing and general ledger interfaces - Serve as a subject-matter expert for Dayforce Payroll functionality - Support Organizational Readiness activities, including payroll communications and employee readiness - Review client payroll policies and pay practices and provide recommendations aligned with industry best practices Benefits - Paid time off - Medical insurance - Dental plan - Vision plan - Life insurance - Short-term and long-term disability (STD/LTD) - Paid holidays - Competitive FTE salary range based on experience, education, and location
