Role Description Cherry Bekaert Advisory is seeking a Sage Intacct Implementation & Accounting Technology Manager to lead complex, accounting‑driven technology engagements and serve as a trusted advisor to clients navigating financial system transformation. As a Sage Intacct Implementation & Accounting Technology Manager, you will: - Lead and support Sage Intacct implementations, including system configuration, entity structures, intercompany processing, banking setup, and payment workflows. - Oversee post‑go‑live stabilization and optimization efforts to ensure systems align with accounting intent and reporting requirements. - Diagnose and resolve complex Intacct issues such as posting errors, closed periods, entity mapping, and reconciliation challenges. - Apply CPA‑level accounting judgment to guide system design, integrations, and workflow decisions. - Advise clients on accounting treatment related to liabilities, clearing accounts, intercompany activity, payment timing, and reconciliations. - Serve as a subject‑matter expert for Ramp and Sage Intacct integrations, including optimization of spend policies, approvals, receipt handling, and workflows. - Act as a trusted advisor in client meetings where accounting and system design decisions are critical. - Support presales discovery and solution design by evaluating accounting and system requirements and partnering with sales and practice leadership. - Mentor consultants and senior consultants and contribute to internal best practices, documentation, and knowledge sharing. Qualifications - Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential. - Advanced experience leading Sage Intacct implementations and configuring accounting systems. - Strong command of accounting principles and their application in technology‑enabled environments. - Proven experience supporting complex client engagements in a consulting or professional services setting. - Experience with Ramp or similar spend management platforms (preferred). - Exposure to multi‑entity and intercompany accounting environments (preferred). - Background in ERP integrations or accounting technology advisory (preferred).
