The Training Consultant leverages Home & Community Care Delivery (H&CCD) program knowledge and consultative skills to support internal and external colleagues, SMEs, leadership and other Optum functional areas to develop, implement and assess performance of staff training. They utilize consultative skills to assess if behavior gaps are best addressed via training vs performance management vs other interventions. You'll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. For all hires in the Minneapolis or Washington, D.C. area, you will be required to work in the office a minimum of four days per week. Primary Responsibilities: - Assess training requests using a structured needs analysis framework - Collaborate with partners to identify learning needs of clinical staff with a focus on clinical models, including but not limited to clinical model updates, new program implementation (markets, models, roles), new clinical quality initiatives, clinical documentation and EHR training needs - Collaborate with instructional designers and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and goals and recommend appropriate learning technologies and strategies to meet organizational goals - Manage documentation of project plans and updates in platform for transparency across team - Review internal products prior to external SME approval to ensure that deliverables meet agreed upon process changes, audience persona needs and change management principles - Lead projects with cross-functional stakeholders and/or cross-product impact You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience conducting structured training or performance needs analyses, translating business needs into measurable learning outcomes (e.g., KPIs, behavioral objectives), and partnering with multiple stakeholders to scope and deliver solutions - 3+ years of experience leading projects within an established project management framework, including developing and maintaining RACIs, detailed schedules, and status reporting while successfully managing 5+ concurrent projects and meeting defined milestones - 3+ years of experience producing clear, concise written and verbal communications (e.g., job aids, training materials, executive updates), resolving conflict using documented approaches, and influencing stakeholders at all levels without direct authority - 3+ years of experience demonstrating resourcefulness, initiative, and sound judgment, including testing new approaches, identifying improvement opportunities, and documenting outcomes and lessons learned - 3+ years of experience supporting the adoption of process or program changes, including developing and executing change plans (communications, training, and reinforcement), tracking adoption metrics, and addressing resistance in partnership with stakeholders - Hands-on experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and project tracking tools such as Smartsheet - Proven ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects of varying size, scope, and complexity in a fast-paced environment Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in H&CCD clinical programs - Work experience with Pathway, eHC, Coordinate, OCM, Athena or other EHR platforms - Solid knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Role Description We are looking for a Security Consultant to join Microsoft Federal.
