Role Description Point is transforming homeownership through innovative financial products — and we're doing it with an engineering organization that's going AI-native. We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to sit at the center of that transformation: - Build and maintain internal developer productivity tooling — dashboards, metrics, and measurement frameworks that surface engineering throughput, cycle time, and quality signals. - Instrument token consumption and model cost across agentic workflows (task type, epic, user) to provide visibility and support cost optimization as we scale AI coding agent usage. - Establish availability monitoring and alerting across all business systems and internal applications, and develop SOPs for detecting and responding to disruptions. - Identify and reduce friction across the Secure SDLC — streamlining SAST/DAST integration, compliance tooling, and security scanning so engineers can ship fast without cutting corners. - Manage, scale, and improve AWS cloud infrastructure to support reliable and secure production systems. - Build, operate, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to enable fast, safe, and repeatable deployments. - Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for consistent, auditable, and scalable environments. - Evaluate and optimize AI model hosting on AWS Bedrock — including model selection, performance benchmarking, and cost trade-offs across providers. - Drive adoption and standardization of AI coding agent tooling (Claude Code, Cursor) across engineering teams, and evaluate emerging tools as the ecosystem evolves. - Partner with Security to deploy and operate SAST, DAST, and SIEM solutions as part of our Secure SDLC. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering; Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field. - Demonstrated experience building internal developer productivity tools and metrics systems (e.g., DORA metrics, cycle time, deployment frequency, engineering throughput). - Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, TypeScript, or similar) for building automation and internal tooling. - Practical experience using AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar) as part of your own engineering workflow. - Hands-on experience with AWS services including compute (ECS, EKS, EC2, Lambda), storage (S3), data (RDS, Redis), and governance and identity (Control Tower, IAM). - Hands-on experience building and maintaining CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions. - Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or similar tools (AWS CDK, CloudFormation). Requirements - Experience managing or evaluating LLM hosting platforms such as AWS Bedrock — including model selection, token cost optimization, and multi-model evaluation frameworks. - Experience building tooling to support agentic or multi-agent AI workflows (session tracking, cost attribution, observability). Role Description We are seeking a DevOps Engineer (Mid/Senior, 3+ years) to own CI/CD pipelines, Azure cloud infrastructure, and Kubernetes operations across multiple production environments, supporting digital platforms delivered to public sector and enterprise clients across Europe. The position is fully remote with the option of working from our premises in Athens, Crete or Thessaloniki. Main Responsibilities and Tasks - Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps and Jenkins (YAML pipelines, Jenkinsfile, shared libraries) from commit to production; - Manage and scale Kubernetes clusters on AKS across dev, staging, and production; author Helm charts; manage namespaces, RBAC, configmaps, secrets, and ingress; - Provision and version infrastructure with Terraform/Bicep and manage configuration with Ansible across multiple Azure environments; - Enforce security gates in pipelines — Trivy container scans, Checkov IaC policies, SonarQube SAST quality gates; manage secrets via HashiCorp Vault and Azure Key Vault; - Own observability — Prometheus/Grafana dashboards, ELK/OpenSearch log aggregation, OpenTelemetry instrumentation; define and track SLOs and error budgets; - Manage network configuration — DNS, VPN, ingress controllers, load balancers, and network policies; lead blameless post-mortems. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or equivalent demonstrable experience; - 3+ years of hands-on DevOps, Build & Release, or Cloud Engineering experience in production; - Deep hands-on Azure: VMs, VNets, Storage, Azure AD, Load Balancers, AKS; Kubernetes day-2 operations; Docker image build, publish, and hardening; - Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines, repos, artifacts, agent pools, branching policies) and Jenkins (Jenkinsfile, shared libraries); Git workflows (GitFlow or trunk-based); - Terraform for infrastructure-as-code and Ansible for configuration management (playbooks, roles, inventories); - Trivy, Checkov, and SonarQube as blocking pipeline gates; secrets management with HashiCorp Vault or Azure Key Vault; - Scripting in Python and/or Bash/PowerShell; Prometheus + Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch; networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, ingress, load balancers, network policies); English B2+. • You join a team of 35 tech sassy Internet of Things and Sensor Technology engineers. • Partnering with your team, you design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure for AI-driven applications and bring model inference onto drone detection devices. • Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable fast and secure deployments. • Ensure system reliability, performance, security, low-latency predictions and offline operation in sensitive, mission-critical environments. • Work closely with ML engineers to deploy and scale models in production. • Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform). • Monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, and continuously improve observability. • (if you want) support field operations by acquiring sensor data on site in Germany, Poland or Hungary and validating the technology through controlled field trials.
