Paradigm is in search of a Construction Manager to oversee all aspects of assigned projects. Responsibilities: - Lead Construction Projects: Oversee all aspects of construction projects from initiation to completion, emphasizing a culture of excellence in safety and quality standards. - Coordinate Project Completion: Take charge of project coordination and ensure timely completion within specified parameters of cost, quality, and schedule objectives. - Manage Client Relationships: Foster strong on-site customer relationships by effectively coordinating with clients and subcontractors to fulfill project deliverables. - Set Deadlines and Monitor Progress: Establish project deadlines, allocate responsibilities, and closely monitor progress, providing regular reports to leadership. - Provide Team Leadership: Offer guidance and direction to project team members, ensuring cohesive project management processes and directing the overall work of the team. - Ensure Safety and Quality Compliance: Collaborate with customers and Babcock Power Safety and Quality personnel to uphold safety and quality standards throughout project execution.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Five plus years in substation electrical construction, with at least 3 years in direct supervision.
  • Trade licensing preferred; or willing to obtain.
  • Familiarity with commercial terms, substation construction practices, and legal standards.
  • Comprehensive understanding of installation, maintenance, and repair processes in substations.
  • Ability to convey information effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite for project management tasks.
  • Maintain quality standards while handling high work volumes.
  • Previous experience in electrical project management is a plus.
  • The construction managers are expected to travel to and stay near the construction site.
