Recent work includes: - Supporting Gwinnett County, Georgia on forward-looking stormwater initiatives that advance flood resilience, water supply resiliency, and environmental performance through stormwater manual development, BMP monitoring guidance, ordinance review and revision, BMP construction inspection training, and the design of demonstration projects, stream restoration, wetland enhancement, and green stormwater infrastructure. - Leading water resources engineering design and permitting efforts for multiple Florida counties, including countywide stormwater master planning, flood modeling, engineering design, construction plans and specifications, permit applications, and support for coastal and inland wetland restoration and habitat enhancement projects. - Providing low-impact development and green stormwater infrastructure planning, along with watershed management and on-call stormwater services for municipalities throughout the Southeast. Position Summary: The Stormwater Project Manager plays a key role in advancing Tetra Tech's mission to build resilient, sustainable communities. This position leads the design and delivery of innovative projects focused on green stormwater infrastructure, water quality and quantity, and community resiliency for municipal, state, and federal clients. As a Project Manager, you will take on a leadership role managing interdisciplinary teams, developing creative solutions, providing technical oversight, and delivering impactful projects that protect and improve our local communities. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, or related engineering field. - Minimum of 15 years of relevant engineering experience with demonstrated expertise in stormwater design and watershed management. - Experience leading municipal client work, including construction support, site assessments, survey review, and field observations. - Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in Florida or Georgia, or ability to obtain licensure in one of those states within six months of hire. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and ArcGIS, along with experience using modeling software such as StormWise (formerly ICPR), PCSWMM, and HEC-RAS. - Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. - Proven experience preparing and delivering client presentations, preferably for municipal or other public-sector clients. - Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to quickly adapt to additional design and analysis tools as needed. - Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage competing priorities, and build trusted client relationships. Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering.
