The Role As the Lead Associate, Marketing, Data and Analytics, you will play a key role in strengthening Save the Children's marketing performance measurement and data operations. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Marketing Performance, Technology & Analytics, you will support both the Marketing Analytics and Marketing Technology leaders by collecting, preparing, and validating data; producing recurring and ad‑hoc reports; and ensuring teams have timely, accurate, and actionable performance insights. Location Hybrid - Washington DC, Fairfield, CT or Lexington, KY office locations What You'll Be Doing (Essential Duties) - not inclusive of all role responsibilities. May be subject to change Data Collection, Reporting & Dashboard Support (45%) - Produce recurring and ad‑hoc reports that support campaign performance tracking, KPI monitoring, and leadership visibility. - Pull, clean, and prepare data from CRM/ESP, web analytics, media platforms, and offline sources to support analysis and reporting. - Conduct quality checks on data sources, metadata, and platform‑based reporting outputs to ensure a single source of truth. - Support the two Senior Advisors within the Marketing, Analytics & Technology team by generating data‑driven insights and performance summaries, while also providing recommendations and hands‑on support that strengthen MarTech instrumentation and reporting. Marketing Technology & Data Operations Support (25%) - Help monitor data flows across CRM/ESP, CDP, web/app analytics, and offline systems to ensure timely and complete data availability. - Support documentation of platform processes, data definitions, and governance standards. - Coordinate with BTS on data tickets, access requests, and troubleshooting basic data or reporting issues. Cross‑Channel Analytics & Insights Support (20%) - Partner with channel owners to gather reporting needs, clarify requirements, and ensure consistent KPI definitions. - Prepare datasets and preliminary analyses that support segmentation, file health monitoring, attribution, and campaign optimization. - Summarize trends, anomalies, and performance highlights for review by leaders within the Marketing Analytics and Technology team. - Contribute to insights decks, monthly performance reviews, and cross‑team reporting forums. Team Collaboration, Learning & Operational Excellence (10%) - Participate in MAT team ceremonies, sprint planning, and cross‑functional working sessions. - Support training, documentation, and adoption of analytics tools and reporting standards across Marketing & Growth. - Stay current on analytics best practices, data visualization techniques, and emerging MarTech capabilities. - Contribute to a collaborative, inclusive, and learning‑oriented team culture. Required qualifications for the role - Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent, plus at least 3 years of relevant experience in marketing analytics, data operations, or digital reporting. - Experience working with marketing data sources (CRM/ESP, web analytics, media platforms, or similar). - Proficiency in Excel and at least one data visualization tool (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.). - Basic familiarity with SQL or other query languages (or strong willingness to learn). - Strong attention to detail, data hygiene, and quality assurance. - Ability to translate reporting needs into clear data requirements and structured outputs. - Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain data concepts to non‑technical audiences. - Professional proficiency in spoken and written English. Preferred qualifications for the role - Experience with CRM or multi‑channel marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Blackbaud, Adobe, Braze). - Exposure to tag management, UTM standards, or event tracking frameworks. - Familiarity with Python, R, or other analytics programming languages. - Experience supporting cross‑functional teams in a marketing or fundraising environment. - Interest in developing deeper skills in predictive analytics, attribution, or marketing measurement. Compensation Save the Children is offering the following salary ranges for this position, dependent on candidate location: - Geo 1 - NY Metro, DC, and other locations with labor costs significantly above national average: Target Salary for this position is $72,250 - $80,750 base salary - Geo 2 - Locations around the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $65,450 - $73,150 base salary - Geo 3 - Locations significantly below the US National Labor Cost Average: Target Salary for this position is $59,500 - $66,500 base salary The salary ranges listed above are for US based candidates. For candidates located outside of the US, salary ranges will be based on the salary scales of the local employer of record. Actual base salary may vary based on, but not limited to, relevant experience, base salary of internal peers, business sector, and geographic location (more information on job structure is available here).
