Senior Underwriting Operations Associate
Ryan Specialty
• Support the underwriting process by managing operational tasks such as data entry, document management, and policy issuance. • Coordinate with underwriters, brokers, and clients to gather necessary information and documents. • Ensure efficient workflow by prioritizing tasks, managing timelines, and resolving bottlenecks. • Maintain accurate records of underwriting decisions, policy changes, and client interactions in the company’s database. • Assist in the development and implementation of underwriting operations policies and procedures. • Provide training and guidance to junior staff on operational tasks and best practices. • Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the accuracy and consistency of underwriting operations. • Collaborate with other departments such as claims, finance, and legal to ensure seamless service delivery. • Stay updated with changes in industry regulations and company policies that impact underwriting operations. • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of underwriting operations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Risk Management or Business with a minimum of 2 years of experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience
- Chartered Property Causalty Underwriter (CPCU), Associate in Commerical Underwriting (AU), Certified Insurance Service Representation (CISR) or Associate in Insurance Data Management (AIDM) is preferred
