Role Description Postmedia’s Legal Department is looking for a skilled corporate / commercial lawyer based in the Greater Toronto area to join its team. Qualifications - 3 to 5 years’ experience since your Call to the Ontario Bar within a major law firm or in-house department. - Good standing as a member of the Law Society of Ontario. - Strong experience in corporate, securities, transactions and/or commercial law. - Demonstrated capacity to collaborate and provide value-added advice to the business. - Positive, high degree of integrity, curious and inquisitive. - Critical thinker, highly analytical with strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to excel at partnering with the business to find interesting solutions to legal, compliance or governance dilemmas. - Highly detailed, delivering pragmatic, risk-based, legal advice with precision. - Excellent organizational skills and strong work ethic to juggle competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
