Creative Recruiter – Part Time

Nen Creative

• Source and identify creative talent across production, animations, cinematography, editing, design, and other creative roles • Review portfolios, reels, resumes, and past work to help identify strong candidates • Conduct initial outreach, screenings, and introductory interviews • Help organize and improve our hiring process, candidate pipeline, and recruiting systems • Work closely with leadership to understand hiring needs, skill gaps, and role requirements • Coordinate interviews, feedback, and candidate communication • Help proactively build relationships with high-quality creative talent before hiring needs become urgent • Assist with writing and refining job postings and recruiting materials • Support both freelance/contract and full-time hiring efforts

Job Requirements

  • Strong understanding of creative industries, including video production, motion design, branding, or digital design
  • Strong creative judgment and ability to evaluate portfolios and reels
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Comfortable speaking with creative talent and assessing fit beyond technical skill alone
  • Experience recruiting for creative, agency, startup, or production environments preferred
  • Self-directed and able to operate independently
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, evolving environment
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through

As the Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a critical role in advancing Council’s talent strategy by helping attract, engage, onboard, and retain exceptional talent committed to creating meaningful impact for young people nationwide. This role goes beyond recruitment, serving as a strategic partner in shaping the full candidate-to-associate experience—from employer branding and talent acquisition strategy to onboarding and long-term engagement.
