Job Description Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. Duties may include, but are not limited to the following: The Thought Leader Liaison will be accountable to deliver in three key areas: Support Brand Strategic Initiatives, KOL Engagement and Advocacy Development, and Communications- internal and external. All TLL interactions are on-label and consistent with commercial compliance, legal and regulatory guidelines. - Support Brand Strategic Initiatives: - Participate as a member of the cross-functional brand team(s) to provide feedback on strategy, messaging, and tactical execution and novel programming ideas and concepts. - Facilitate cross-functional planning, recruitment, and execution of regional and national advisory boards, capturing feedback to inform brand decisions. - Identify, align, and recruit appropriate HCP consultants to engage to meet the need profiled by brand team leaders to meet the organizational goal for each project. - Responsible for collaborating effectively and mobilizing all appropriate resources. - KOL Engagement and Advocacy Development - Identify, profile, cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with KOLs. - Attend National/Regional hematology-oncology and all multiple myeloma congresses. - Align with cross-functional teammates to orchestrate resources with the top KOLs as determined by Brand Team through influence and centers of excellence mapping. - Create and execute, aligned with the brand team - Communications - Provide competitive intelligence and general insights gained through interactions to help shape brand strategy. - Managing execution of executive leadership engagement encounters at local, regional, and national conferences and congresses, POAs, field visits and other venues as directed in a compliant manner. - Scientific Congress Management: - Manages regional congresses serving as the primary contact to the home office for budgeting, contracting, coordination, attendance, pull through and KOL meetings. - Will also serve as a resource for field teams who are managing local conferences. - The TLL will maximize regional congress activity by ensuring that congress and customer engagements are prepared in advance, have clear meeting goals, utilize approved presentation materials, and are followed by a meeting summary. Coordinates with marketing, sales team, and vendors to ensure contacts made receive appropriate follow-up. - Travel up to 90% of the time; overnights will be required - All other duties as assigned Qualifications MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required. - Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field - 2+ years of work experience as a Thought Leader Liaison in Hematology-oncology or rare disease. - Additional product marketing, or medical/clinical experience of same or related therapeutic area within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry are also required. - Ability to partner with cross-functional teams toward a shared vision of success. - Ability to present ideas effectively to individuals or groups, targeting presentation to the needs of the audience. - Strong organizational skills. - Strong project management experience, including superior analytical and planning skills. - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. - Ability to execute strategic and tactical plans under tight timelines. - Ability to travel to meetings/training/programs as necessary. - Valid driver’s license.
