Role Description The Manager of Data Center Operational Excellence will be a vital member of the leadership team of the North American division of Edged Data Centers. This role is primarily focused on developing, implementing, and overseeing fleet wide processes to improve the overall operational posture of the organization. - Support comprehensive data center operations across regional facilities. - Provide strategic leadership for mission-critical infrastructure operations. - Drive operational excellence, reliability, and efficiency to meet stringent service level agreements and business objectives. - Develop and implement a drill program and change management process. - Work on strategic projects across multiple departments to improve operational excellence, team performance, safety, efficiency, and reduce costs. Qualifications - 10+ years managing engineering or technical staff. - 5+ years project/program management/reliability engineering. - Experience with predictive maintenance, continuous improvement, and reliability engineering around mechanical & electrical critical infrastructure. - Experience managing a change control environment. - Extensive knowledge of data center processes, procedures, and standards. - Certifications/Accreditations that will be viewed positively: ITIL v2/3/4, CDCP, AOS. - Advanced in Microsoft Office 365. Requirements - Ability to interpret industry data center standards, policies & methodologies. - Ability to improve performance management & critical awareness methods and implementation standards thinking outside the box. - Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. - Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented. - Ability to develop Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM), and power metering systems.
