• Partner with product leads to coordinate roadmap planning, sprint cadence, and cross-team dependencies, keeping inputs organized and threads moving forward • Draft planning documents, status updates, and meeting notes for senior stakeholders, translating discussion into clear written artifacts • Maintain product operations hygiene in Jira — boards, workflows, reporting — and help apply prioritization frameworks like RICE or weighted scoring • Build and maintain lightweight dashboards and spreadsheets that give product leaders visibility into delivery, velocity, and key product metrics • Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, retros, backlog grooming) and help product leads prepare and follow through on action items • Use Claude and other AI tools to accelerate routine work — summarizing meetings, drafting docs, analyzing data, and building lightweight internal automations • Identify gaps in process and proactively define your own role and workflows rather than waiting for direction

• Translate approved product briefs into epics, features, and user stories using AI-enabled tools and Agile systems • Validate requirements through internal processes and align with Product Management prior to development • Ensure all work meets Definition of Ready standards before sprint planning • Maintain a clean, organized, and accurate backlog based on Product leadership direction • Track feature progress and communicate release readiness to stakeholders • Prepare and publish customer-facing release notes using standardized formats and AI tooling • Support internal release walkthroughs and documentation updates • Collaborate closely with Engineering and Quality Assurance to clarify implementation details • Maintain structured documentation across tools like Azure DevOps, Confluence, and SharePoint • Continuously improve workflows, especially around AI-assisted documentation and product structuring

• Own and evolve the product operating model, including annual planning, quarterly product reviews, and weekly/monthly product leadership cadences to keep teams aligned and moving fast • Drive cross-functional accountability between Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, and GTM teams by facilitating structured communication, decision-making forums, and program tracking • Lead and develop a team of Product Operations managers, setting a high bar for operational excellence across the organization • Build and maintain a robust Product Insights capability — synthesizing customer feedback, usage data, market signals, and competitive intelligence to inform product strategy and prioritization • Partner with the Product & Engineering leaders to develop and track KPIs and success metrics across the product portfolio, driving accountability and visibility into progress • Design and implement scalable processes for product launches, feature rollouts, and go-to-market coordination, ensuring smooth handoffs between product and commercial teams • Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks that slow product velocity; proactively improve how the team works, not just what it ships • Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices • Hire, develop and lead an inclusive, engaged, and high performing team

• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives across product applications, data flows, and lifecycle activities • Track milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables • Support standardized product and data lifecycle processes from intake through delivery and retirement • Facilitate alignment across Product, IT, Data, and Compliance stakeholders • Partner with product teams (consultants, developers, analysts, PMs) to ensure accurate and timely data implementation • Work directly with clients to gather data requirements and secure approval on configurations • Collaborate with vendors to obtain: • Data file layouts • Test files • Claims files • Provide internal and external status updates and implementation reports • Administer Azure DevOps (projects, boards, workflows, and work items) • Maintain consistent tool configurations for tracking and reporting • Manage user access, permissions, and security groups in collaboration with IT • Ensure lifecycle data (status, ownership, dependencies, outcomes) is accurate and up-to-date • Track product changes, enhancements, and data dependencies • Ensure tools reflect governance standards and lifecycle requirements • Partner with Product and Data teams to align tool usage with compliance and audit expectations • Maintain documentation for lifecycle workflows, standards, and tool administration • Enforce naming conventions, templates, and operational best practices • Support audits, reporting, and leadership insights related to product and data operations
