Senior Data Analyst – Operations
Neogen Corporation
• Develop and maintain standardized operational dashboards, reports, and KPIs, including metrics related to throughput, on-time delivery, inventory, cost, productivity, and capacity. • Analyze operational, manufacturing, supply chain, and service data to identify trends, risks, root causes, and opportunities for improvement. • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports for site, regional, and global Operations leadership to support S&OP, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes. • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to improve data accuracy, consistency, availability, reporting standards, and data definitions. • Enhance reporting efficiency through improved visualization tools, automation of manual reporting processes, and effective use of BI platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools. • Support continuous improvement, cost reduction, capacity expansion, process optimization, Quality Management System, audit, compliance, and risk assessment initiatives through data-based insights.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience as determined by the employer.
- 3-5 years of experience in data analytics, operations analytics, business analytics, or a related analytical role.
- Experience analyzing manufacturing, supply chain, operations, or service-related data is strongly preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using BI or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems, operational data structures, KPIs, and performance metrics.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a high level of attention to detail and data integrity.
